Also don’t forget the hard works of the maintenance team that will come in after that… i started my career with the LTA 22 years ago… doing maintenance to road structures islandwide, including bridges and tunnels… it’s a challenging and rewarding experience! Kudos to everyone from the team at LTA! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
The many engineers of many multi-disciplines are the true heroes of such massive MRT projects. Boring the tunnels or constructing viaducts are only one part of it. To operate the entire train system efficiently, good power supply and regeneration, stable railways tracks and switches, reliable and fast modern signalling system, relable control and communications, fast and adequate peoples movers, adequate smoke extract fans, functioning ventilation and cooling system, etc, all need to work perfectly together to let the people enjoy these fantastic public transport systems. Not an easy task. Architecture of the nice looking stations is only the easy "facial makeup" part.
Wow...very impressive at our amazing hard working workers...lots of praise to our wonderfull govt and lta team for they're dedecation!! Sending love from Netherlands...used to live in sgp 10 yrs ago .. miss dis place a lot
very informative video. But it'll be good to also clarify what happens before 120 years pass when the tunnels are considered at their lifespan limit? I'm guessing some kind of degradation to to concrete will occur eventually so does that mean that train lines have to be stopped and the tunnel walls stripped out and replaced?
yawns .... has so much tunnelling generated PMET jobs for us other than a few engineers / architects ? has it helped with the high cost of living and helped those who work from home daily but need to compete against the rest of the world online
CCL Stage 6 is they named as Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward first. Someone would have renamed to Keppel Harbour or Keppel West; Tanjong Pagar West; Marina Coastal or Shenton South, but the government is so against so they retain from what it is built (Keppel, Cantonment and Prince Edward Road).
Hôly sh!!t 🙆🏻♀️, did you just add external fixators for the existing bridge pillar and removed the actual support of the pillar to accomodate a tunnel? That's next level orthopaedics+vascular surgery , fck why didn't i take engineering
I wonder if that is part of the problem - that those in the power see themselves as being able to dictate how long the public should have confidence in them for?
Unfortunately, this accident is just one of the many that has plagued the MRT in the past few years. From numerous delays, to deaths and floods, this collision is just yet another mishap.
Having ownself convinced ownself they need to be paid handsomely for their sacrifice, they still harp on sacrifice of loss of income whenever it suits them.

A sneak preview of CCL6
a very pleasant introduction 👍 well-blended w facts & animation! 👏
ALL THANKS TO THE PAP GOVT LONG TERM PLANNING AND VISIONARY THINKING
I live near this area. I wonder how much value my property will be once the Circle Line is complete.
7:40 so what happens next?
S'pore has a first-world PAP govt which is ranked the most effective in the world.❤❤

What happens after 120 years?
Sometimes I wonder why it takes so long to build 3 stops

The construction of the cross island line is causing a lot of noise pollution. They work through the night, causing me sleepless nights

Anybody checking china tunnelling company is doing proper work ?

Disappointed that this joker was hired by Lta to showcase the jobs.
PAP GOV IS A JOKE!
Are you ok Mr PSP supporter?

The standard pointing finger at other people and 3 pointing back at himself goes back to himself @martinmisty866 you’re the joke 🤣🤣!

You are the one. Not PAP definitely.
So boring...
The Noose is better~
Should focus on rising sea level issue & start doing it rather than dig more MRT lines =.=
Lame
CEL’s mannerisms in such a serious topic is quite annoying actually!
I feel he is making a serious topic much interesting instead 😊

PAP wants to tell people they can relate to them while paying themselves millions of dollars
