- THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL It is more of a daily personal diary, or perhaps a vlog, centered around the building of plastic model ships. Don’t be surprised when I unexpectedly, but usually just momentarily, get into something completely unrelated. I was big into building models years ago. Apparently I’m trying to bring back “the good old days” by building plastic model ships. Feel free to learn from my mistakes while I muddle through this.
Hey Ron ,nice paint job you're doing ,excellent episode tonight, catch you later. 👍👍👍😀👌
Thanks 👍
If you think the mr color paints, the bubbles aren't as bad
Hi Jeff,
Maybe next time I'll try to thin it out a bit. Thanks for the tip. 👍
Hey Ron, How are you?. I think the metallic blue on the valve pushrods will look awesome. Good job on the engine. You have a great day in Winnipeg. Herb
Thanks Herb 👍
Great episode tonight Ron. I like the metallic blue for the pushrods. Take care n see you tomorrow.
Thanks 👍
Good show tonight.Thumbs up for the blue.
Much appreciated 👍
I wonder if you can remove paint bubbles like they do to fiberglass resin, they use a torch to eliminate them without damaging the resin?
I used to use my torch to remove the bubbles from from Varathane when I was painting in my workshop. But something this small, I don't think that a torch would be a very good idea. 🤞
Ron, nice detail painting on the pushrods, I have two camcorder’s now. Watching you I released I had room to film towards me when doing small parts😊 happy modelling.
I really enjoy working with 2 and occasionally 3 cameras synced up. Time consuming however. Your 1/16 scale tank destroyer is almost finished. Nice work on that Paul! 👍
@@roncalverley It is Ron but weathering is next. Your set up is great.
Good painting episode Ron. See you tomorrow😊
Thanks for coming 👍
Howdy Max and Missy 😊
