Wow nice work Clement! After listening to the podcast episode, it's cool to listen to the "behind the scenes" to your performance haha. And I think it really says something about these learning methods if others are able to become fluent so quickly!!
It's all about consistency in my opinion! I already passed hsk 2 in 1 month I don't know if that's standard completion time but I put in 4 hours everyday. Albeit sometimes it's frustrating because I can recognize words and make basic sentences but it's not natural yet for me to say it and I still make many mistakes 😅

amazing！for language learner,when you've learned more than three foreign languages, it's very difficult not to get confused.
It’s difficult for me to even learn 1 foreign language fluently. I don’t know how polyglots learn so many languages lol
It is hard to get fluent in 1 language. Don't give up or be discouraged by 'polyglots'

我的经历差不多。我的老婆会中文但是我开始学习的时候她不想跟我用中文说话以为她觉得没有意义。我的中文水平很低所以跟我谈谈很无聊。两年后我们常常用中文说话因为我学习努力。
