- More RC Dirt Modified's Racing - Qualifying Heats at New Zealand RC Nationals. This is the 2nd video of two Dirt Mod videos filmed that day. See Benny Le Pro fight a road cone and come off second best. See what happens when a car gets throttle jammed and turns one of it's tires into a pancake that flies apart.

The first lot were a bit of eyesore but the second group, holy moly! I never thought I'd get that much of a an adrenaline rush from watching RC races haha I WANT ONE!
Just like real modifieds, half a lap yellow, 2 laps yellow. Lol awesome. The second heat had more seasoned drivers IMO

The corner marshall put one tire down on the ground where it stoppped, which caused the other to spin like crazy and blow out the tire. Idiot move to put one side of the rear axle down while the other spins out of control.

Is it really that hard to make it around an oval?
Racing in a group like this takes a lot of practice. The scale ground (speed) that they cover is far greater than full scale. A 1/5 scale car traveling at 40 MPH is covering 200 MPH scale speed. My slow 1/10 Rally car cruising a 35 MPH is covering 350 MPH scale speed. At that scale level, things happen much faster.

Hi, I see that these are HPI Baja's with a dirt modified body. A bunch of us run a dirt oval here in NJ USA and would love all of us to get these bodies for our cars. I have never seen any for the Baja. Can you give me any info as to where online/internet we can order these dirt modified bodies for our cars? Any info would be very much appreciated. Thank You

We run Mud Boss Electric and Blow the Loose Stuff off water the track between rounds and run Very Tacky Hi Bite!
No more than 2 laps at best then restart . I dont think I will get into this type of racing at all. Here is an idea . Abandon the idea of a restart at every crash . If you crash your done for that race .

I have one more thing I'd love for you guys to try I've had on my mind but I cannot afford someone please put a four stroke weedeater motor in one of those cars and get it on the track with the two-stroke I would love to see a four stroke smash one of those two strokes out

Apart the American car park drag racing this is the crappest RC racing I've ever seen. I thought I was American at 1st and I was disappointed to see New Zealanders doing it . Cumon lads !!!

I race A main pro in 1/8th scale nitro buggy division in the USA and I'll tell ya these are an entirely different beast to control smoothly. Be very smooth with rolling the throttle on these and you'll be fast. it's all about throttle control.
