This is amazing Steph. I'm not in the sun to much anymore. The grandkids are. I'm so impressed with this sun block you made. I wouldn't think the kinds out of the stores would be bad for the skin. When you can't pronounce the words I guess we should know it's not that good for skin. Very weird how products are so deceiving. I guess we all need to look up these to really see what they are. Thankyou for showing this amazing creamy sunscreen recipe and Conner helping out. You all have a great day.

Thank you Steph! I’m a sidewalk counselor and am in the sun everyday. I knew all the store bought ones were bad and one doctor said to slowly stay in the sun a little each day to get your skin ready so it doesn’t burn. But I love your recipe. Thank you! Love watching your channel.❤ Connor is a comedian!

Just wondering if there is a purpose to heating the coconut oil and shea butter? I've never used shea butter but coconut oil is very soft when it is a little warm. I love putting my own spin on a healthy unscented store lotion by remixing it with coconut oil and bio oil however I warm it until it is very soft by simply leaving it in the sun or the oven with just the light on and the heat from the light gives it a workable texture. (I also always put a sticky note covering the oven controls so nobody turns on the oven while I have product in it.) To mix it I use a larger plastic jar and use the electric egg beater inside the jar to emulsify it. I mix about three jars at a time and store them in the fridge except for the one I will be using. They stay fresh until I am ready to use them.
Only for safety sake I might caution you that the stove manual says to use the same size burner as the pot size. When you have the smaller pot on a larger burner the pot handles will get very hot and there could could be other safety issues.
