There is scholar knowledge and financial knowledge. In order to get rich you will need both, you need to learn how the money is created, how the business works, in order to invest on them. Learn basic accounting like how to read a balance sheet, what is EBTDA (earnings before taxes depreciation and appreciation), income statemen, etc. Basically if you want to make money learn how the money works. Try your hardest to get into contact with him/her or his/her assistant to see if you can possibly get a moment of his/her time. Make sure you clearly state a reason. Start with who you are, what you're trying to do, then make a list of questions, almost like you're interviewing them. Arrange the date/time that is available to THEM. Meet up, and make sure you thank that person for their time. After all, time is money. Mail them a thank you card, along with your business card. If you do that, and they don't accept, then at least you tried. -You miss all of the shots you don't take.
I think one of the loan sharks said to "call and ask If you can work for free and you have a service available for them." If you have to start small, learn from someone who knows more than you do and make sure they know it well and are already successful and then you find ways to impress your boss and you keep doing that until you meet his boss and then you impress him. eventually someone will notice you and will make time for you because you are worth it.

Add on: 1. Reduce debt! Stop using credit and save for what you can pay for. This doesn't apply for large expenses like a house which is better long term than renting (to include the tax benefits, pending the Trump tax plan) because you're paying somebody to live somewhere. 2. Determine your "needs" from your "wants", if you don't "need" a new car after your old car is paid off, save the money and maintain the one you have, and eliminate debt, or put that extra money in your investments (stocks, businesses, college fund, etc.). Believe me, car dealerships will manipulate your payment and keep you in debt if you buy a new or different car every 2 to 3 years. 3. Take care of your clothing, so you don't need a new wardrobe every 12-18 months. 4. Invest your multiple streams of income. Inflation is a killer to the value of the dollar and your bank is stingy with interest while they're cashing in on the market, especially now!

This topic can be addressed in another video but I once had a wealthy person explain that there is a difference between making money and getting rich and to makes money (here’s the kicker) “you help people.” Yup you make money by helping people. People want or need something you provide it for them. That simple. But apparently to get rich you have to take your self out of the equation and help multiple people at once. This where the business angle comes into play. Freelancing on your own for instance will only take you so far but spreading out that help amongst multiple employees is how to become rich. Sure easier said than done but it does play into gaining knowledge and getting a good competitive edge that takes time to develop.

Hello Alux , I wanted to ask about an industry that is over looked quite often. I’ve seen several companies get really big and then collapse. I’m currently in school and working out on the field of Electrical (New Construction) but I would like to see what you guys would cover on the construction business. i like the video. but it's a bit generic along the lines of "start your own business". of course this is a great idea, but there are others. for example, pursue a lucrative career like a doctor or investment banker. invest heavily in your early years especially, the compounding will pay off in a bigger way the earlier you start. aim to invest maybe 40% of your income when you're starting out, you likely have few responsibilities and are single. as you gain more experience and more clients your income will increase, your contributions to your investments will increase. repeat until your passive investments can cover the lifestyle you want. if you invest diligently early on, you can basically guarantee you'll be at least a millionaire when you retire worst case scenario. ANDRO GAMER Well it depends. Why are trying to become an engineer? The money? The prestige? Your family or friends? Yourself? Finding your "why" is the key. The reason you most likely failed twice is because your "why" wasn't something strong enough to push through the tough times. The trick is attaching any goal you want to achieve to something you truly desire. As an example if in your heart you want to be wealthy, lookup engineer salaries when you find yourself lacking motivation to study. If you desire to please your parents, imagine how proud they'll be once you complete your degree. I hope this helps.
I agree with Johnnyg. Being rich is also a state of mind, not how much money you have. Also don't let failure stop you, pick yourself up and keep going. Very few people got rich on their first try.
You have to be creative. Without creativity and imagination you will be stuck in the same trap or tracks so many others are stuck in. You have to understand that old business models aren't going to work the way they once did but you also have to understand that you can go low tech and no glamour and accomplish what the big competitors will never accomplish because they have abandoned those methods. You also have to remember that there are three forms of power on this planet and in this life that are easily in the hands of billions of people around the globe if they can manage them effectively. The lowest form of power is force. You can take a handgun into a business and get them to dance their way to the cash register and sack up some other goodies all for free if that's as creative as your mind will allow. The next form of power is money. You can get a whole lot of people to do much more for you if you pay them. Businesses and mega corporations do this all the time and it's much more effective, especially as a means of acquiring wealth, than using force. But money is only the middle form of power and there's a much more effective form of power that yields even higher results than either force or money ever will. But a guy has to has some secrets and so unless someone is willing to make me an offer I can't refuse I'll leave you guessing as to the highest form of power on this planet and in this life that you can easily put to work in your favor if you were only clear as to what it is.

Business development for customers is not always predictable, finances always have to be hedged
Add on: 1. Reduce debt! Stop using credit and save for what you can pay for. This doesn't apply for large expenses like a house which is better long term than renting (to include the tax benefits, pending the Trump tax plan) because you're paying somebody to live somewhere. 2. Determine your "needs" from your "wants", if you don't "need" a new car after your old car is paid off, save the money and maintain the one you have, and eliminate debt, or put that extra money in your investments (stocks, businesses, college fund, etc.). Believe me, car dealerships will manipulate your payment and keep you in debt if you buy a new or different car every 2 to 3 years. 3. Take care of your clothing, so you don't need a new wardrobe every 12-18 months. 4. Invest your multiple streams of income. Inflation is a killer to the value of the dollar and your bank is stingy with interest while they're cashing in on the market, especially now!

Invest your time in knowledge about money. What is money, how is created, what is an asset, a liability, then choose and industry you want to get in. Then look for flaws and how to fix them, start networking with people smarter than you, like business clubs, investment clubs, etc. Ask those people to train you, and more important. " what are you going to give to them in return for their knowledge and time" nothing is free, and specialty in the business world. Good luck

This topic can be addressed in another video but I once had a wealthy person explain that there is a difference between making money and getting rich and to makes money (here’s the kicker) “you help people.” Yup you make money by helping people. People want or need something you provide it for them. That simple. But apparently to get rich you have to take your self out of the equation and help multiple people at once. This where the business angle comes into play. Freelancing on your own for instance will only take you so far but spreading out that help amongst multiple employees is how to become rich. Sure easier said than done but it does play into gaining knowledge and getting a good competitive edge that takes time to develop.

Hello Alux , I wanted to ask about an industry that is over looked quite often. I’ve seen several companies get really big and then collapse. I’m currently in school and working out on the field of Electrical (New Construction) but I would like to see what you guys would cover on the construction business. I know there is a lot of money to be made in that industry. As most employees don’t shoot for education or really aim to be smart in the business realm.

i like the video. but it's a bit generic along the lines of "start your own business". of course this is a great idea, but there are others. for example, pursue a lucrative career like a doctor or investment banker. invest heavily in your early years especially, the compounding will pay off in a bigger way the earlier you start. aim to invest maybe 40% of your income when you're starting out, you likely have few responsibilities and are single. as you gain more experience and more clients your income will increase, your contributions to your investments will increase. repeat until your passive investments can cover the lifestyle you want. if you invest diligently early on, you can basically guarantee you'll be at least a millionaire when you retire worst case scenario. "if you don't learn to make money while you sleep, you'll work until you die"-warren buffett

ANDRO GAMER Well it depends. Why are trying to become an engineer? The money? The prestige? Your family or friends? Yourself? Finding your "why" is the key. The reason you most likely failed twice is because your "why" wasn't something strong enough to push through the tough times. The trick is attaching any goal you want to achieve to something you truly desire. As an example if in your heart you want to be wealthy, lookup engineer salaries when you find yourself lacking motivation to study. If you desire to please your parents, imagine how proud they'll be once you complete your degree. I hope this helps.

I agree with Johnnyg. Being rich is also a state of mind, not how much money you have. Also don't let failure stop you, pick yourself up and keep going. Very few people got rich on their first try.

You have to be creative. Without creativity and imagination you will be stuck in the same trap or tracks so many others are stuck in.
You have to understand that old business models aren't going to work the way they once did but you also have to understand that you can go low tech and no glamour and accomplish what the big competitors will never accomplish because they have abandoned those methods.
You also have to remember that there are three forms of power on this planet and in this life that are easily in the hands of billions of people around the globe if they can manage them effectively. The lowest form of power is force. You can take a handgun into a business and get them to dance their way to the cash register and sack up some other goodies all for free if that's as creative as your mind will allow.
The next form of power is money. You can get a whole lot of people to do much more for you if you pay them. Businesses and mega corporations do this all the time and it's much more effective, especially as a means of acquiring wealth, than using force.
But money is only the middle form of power and there's a much more effective form of power that yields even higher results than either force or money ever will. But a guy has to has some secrets and so unless someone is willing to make me an offer I can't refuse I'll leave you guessing as to the highest form of power on this planet and in this life that you can easily put to work in your favor if you were only clear as to what it is.
