USB-C to 3.5mm DAC adapter will drain your device's battery faster.. your device will attempt to charge the plugged USB.. you'll notice it'll get warm while using it..

Same things happen on my phone, not just warm, but it's hot. But what if without DAC. As long as your phone has a DAC system, I think if we use an adapter without a DAC, it will be okay.

I have crappy ones from the dollar store. My device is not trying to charge it. The pins for the USB data and power connections shouldn't even be soldered onto the board. If they are they shouldn't be connected to anything since the adapter only needs the audio pins. Also, you can turn off device charging on your phone so nothing gets charged through your USB, that way you can use a USB C to USB C cable for devices that have PD so you charge your phone

Something I know from years of modding usb cables and audio cables is that black is always ground. The mic would still work properly using the green as ground, but the speakers would be getting grounded through the mic's positive connection.

I didn't know that usb can give you Analog signal, this information is very useful to me, because i was trying to stream audio from playstation to pc via usb thinking that it will be a digital stream.
Is SPDIF also analog?

yes mujhe bhi ye hi jan'na hai , but type c data cable ki wiring hi different hoti hai and type c to 3.5 mm ki wiring alag hoti hai , i think type c charging cable me 3.5 mm nhi work karega
