    I've never actually watched anyone stitch binding! Now, I'm confident that I can do it and maybe actually finish these quilts I've started! Cute mug rug idea! 💝 ~ Denise

    Cute but what happens when you get a spill or even a few drops of coffee or tea on the stitching? I would not like to have to handwash it hoping the stains don't set in.😕

    • @FatQuarterShopFlossTube
      @FatQuarterShopFlossTube  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello M! You can spot treat it.

    • @micheleh4016
      @micheleh4016 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we can spot treat but that's not very practical. Is there some product we could use to prevent staining? A sort of Scotch Guard? I imagine many of your watchers have children and grandchildren and we all know how likely spills are when they are around!😲LOL

    When you stitch the pumpkin using the 10 ct how many strands of thread do you use? I have never stitch on 10 ct. and not sure how many. Love this finishing.

  • @patticlaude1
    @patticlaude1 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I would echo the pumpkin because eventually it will need a washing?

    • @FatQuarterShopFlossTube
      @FatQuarterShopFlossTube  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Patti! We recommend spot treating as needed.

      @@FatQuarterShopFlossTube when given as a gift, you'll have no control over its care...even when a laundry care tag is sewn to the binding. Ask how I know...lol Thank you for such a clear, concise tutorial. New subscriber 🎃

    4 pumpkins could be cross-stitched on that piece of cloth.
