- EXCLUSIVE: Isabel Oakeshott believes the individual videoed in the Channel 4 Reform UK investigation saying racist comments "may have been an actor".
"He was not known to the party, he bears a remarkable resemblance to an actor whose details can be quite easily found!"
A campaigner for Nigel Farage has been filmed saying small boats migrants should be used as “target practice”, as the General Election campaign enters its final week.
An undercover Channel 4 reporter recorded one canvasser calling for migrants crossing the English Channel to be used as “target practice” and another describing the Pride flag as a “degenerate” ensign and suggesting members of the LGBT+ community are paedophiles.
Mr Farage said he was “dismayed” by the comments, describing them as “appalling sentiments”.
Elsewhere on the campaign trail, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has warned his campaigners they have “one week to save Britain from a Labour government” in an “urgent” plea for support, sharing his fear that his opponents would “shunt our politics to the left”.

I watched the ch 4 documentary, I found it impossible to believe that any under cover reporter could have got so deeply inside the workings of the party and film let alone inside a campaigners car. It just seemed incredulous.

The fact that he's normally well spoken but on this occasion was speaking "in character" rather than in his normal voice proves he was simply playing the part . Isabel makes a great point about C4 being extremely lucky. I am non-white and have stood in 6 local elections for UKIP. I cannot imagine this racism in the party. I helped out all over the country and I was a Parliamentary candidate for a short time. My experience would point to this being a set up.

Apparently they do not receive any money directly from the UK government anymore, but it doesn't mean the government do not have immense influence and incentivise in the many nefarious ways the government has been caught doing many times in recent or the older past.
Anyhow, what I loved about the video of the supposed Reform volunteer, whose also an actor that's worked for Channel 4 before, was the luck the undercover reporter had being in that place at that time, with fantastic video footage and sound! It was almost as if the guy was microphoned up in 4k 😂😂

They definitely should try. The would not win the case. There is no evidence he was hired, or faking it, and it's also clear, via at least the fact that 4 people defintely not actors and definitely within campaign staff at the end who are insulting gays, muslims, and the UK Police (who they call a 'problem' and say they 'hate'), also using some hints of violence ("the noose" and "paramilitaries"), that Channel 4 had no reason to hire an actor. This racist canvasser has done some part-time acting work, using his natural 'geezer' voice as his main asset, in the past, and it seems long ago had some minor role in something on Channel 4 (like many thousands of people, undoubtely of all political opinions), but so what? It doesn't make him someone hired by Channel 4 to fake this. And they clearly had no need to. There are 'part-time' actors, and ones who have had small parts on Channel 4, all over the place. They're not Channel 4's paid staff.
