So pleased so see another Falconer & Carmichael tale. Listened to first one on holiday last week and was disappointed that I couldn't find another, although Strangeways to Oldham did provide a novel distraction.

I just LOVE this series! I think it would make the most interesting television series, worthy of a Laurie & Fry 'Jeeves & Wooster' level of production. The complex characterization would lend itself well to this. Thank you so very much!

Another excellent book, Andrea Frazer was a superb writer. There's a lovely genteel style about her books, which feels cosy and comfortable. Steve is a wonderful narrator with a soothing (but not sleep inducing) quality. Love his chatacter voices.
Can't wait to listen to another book tomorrow.

Well . . . I preferred the first one. I found this one obvious, and to provide context, I will mention that I almost never do with mysteries. I maintain hope that the author of _Death of an Old Git_ will return to true mysteries hereafter. I like Falconer and Carmichael too much to abandon them just yet.
