Gage Milton is my favorite 💜😊
Thanks for recording! It was a fun competition and I am honored that I won 2nd place 😊
Congratulations! 🎉
Your playing was great. Do you play a Dulciforte? What kind of stand do you use? It looks more stable than my x-crossed stands.
Thanks for posting this video of these talented musicians.
The last arrangement by the champion was very nice.
💙👍....What a fascinating instrument.
The hammer dulcimer produces beautiful sounds...and making beautiful music with it is what these talented people do so well.
Nice! Are you there new video people for the contests? I love that you are making this available to the public!
Thank you for recording and posting this! Wasn't able to make it this year so it's great to see these wonderful players.
Thanks for watching!
I think I may have to disagree about 1st and 2nd place 🤣
That’s nice of you to say that, it was a tough competition
I love how we each have our own style.
Mickey Sweeny was an incredible player. Quality of tone is a difficult thing to achieve on a hammer dulcimer given how it is played, and she performed exceptionally in this regard. I'm not sure what the flams are called on this instrument, but I loved hearing the sustain in these chords.
How could the judges even choose anyone of these musicians above anyone else, they all deserve top billing.
This was awesome. This is what makes democracy great. Pursue your passion, become great at it, and there is a place for you, even if it isn't what everyone else thinks is cool.
Plus Sousa on a hammer dulcimer? Come on! These folks are wonderful!
👍👍🙂
I don’t think that’s unique to democracy lmao
