I can't stand Instagram anymore. Almost every single comment i make gets a strike for absolutely no reason. On top of that my comments have been restricted three times. I see a ton of horrible comments still posted and let's not forget all the trashy mostly nude videos but I say something and I'm banned.

Ive reported troll accounts and guess what Instagram said… “This user account has not violated any community guidelines” . The content on their page are screenshots of other users with description like “I’m a little twink looking to get my pink queer ass stretched followed by their username”. Funny but honestly it violates the guidelines. But if I post “Jesus is Lord” I get restrictions and have to appeal. Anyone else seen stuff like this?

I came here just after my instagram comment was removed...
It was on a video of a man and a woman arguing that she is the mother of his child and she 'cheated' and she matter-of-factly responded that they have a child together but he had not made her his girlfriend/fiance/wife...
I responded that she actually had a valid point and if anything the guy she 'cheated' with should have also resisted as he was very close with the guy and *boom* my comment violated guidelines apparently...
It was not even a reply to someone else's post which could be considered confrontational or a personal attack by some and get reported.

I was making a comment on my art account and someone replied to me saying I was “hiding behind an art page” which makes no sense it just happens to be my art page I’m not hiding but regardless… I responded and in my response mentioned “art page” and instagram took that comment down because it thought it was me spamming to promote my art account…. So obnoxious and I should be able to promote my art account…. Especially underneath comment sections that ask people to promote themselves but Instagram doesn’t fix this bullshit
Instagram is fine with a girl promoting her porn, but kicks people off for saying somthing wrong.

The best part is that you can get to see knowledgeable and very educational breastfeeding videos by women. The video contains, sexy red pound town in the background as music, a baby that is fighting to suck on the nipple of the breast. While the mother is smiling in the video for as long as she can until the baby starts going to town😂 but if I say fuck off.. it gets banned

Why would they need your drivers license when you didn't need it to start it? How is that verifying your identity? That sounds like a way to just get everyone's information. People please don't give up your id so easy. Or your DNA with all these Ancestry or 23 and me or other things. They can sell it to people just like they do with your info and more.

My community guidelines are bugged
They blocked me from sending messages for 3 days then suddenly they're increased it to 7 days I understand why since the last update they up using their authority wrongfully
There is NOOOOOOOOOOO way I'm submitting my government ID to freaking Instagram.
The fact that they are requiring this kind of identification is problematic as all hell and its scary if people actually put their private information like that out there.

Content creator asked for suggestions for his content. I made the suggestion to do TH-cam edited videos of his gaming since he streams. I’m over here like what community guidelines did I violate? A week ago they did the same thing to a comment I said. “OH COOL” it was a video of a man skipping a rock.

Instagram disabled my account because I just click not interested; this post doesn't interest me on the feeds suggested and since it violates their community guidelines.
Just an FYI...I called what I thought was Instagram customer service and some middle eastern guy wanted to get access to my account. The California phone numbers are even listed when you google customer service help phone numbers. I hung up & he called me back. WTH

My instagram account was suspended just because I commented that "in India, police don't say 'sir' while addressing citizens. Instead, it behaved rudly." For this statement, they suspended me. They suspended me for simple comments like "people are used to scrolling reels." 😂😂

I have my account but they took off a post. I was listening to All That I AM from Bread and told the story of how my family got together and took my mom up to a lovely cabin in April before her birthday, we sang that song to her, off key BTW and she was gone in September and what a great memory it was for us. They said I violated community guidelines, wouldn't let me explain and took the post down. 😮 can someone tell me why because I am already off Facebook because of their crap and Instagram may be next. I have had people tell me I'm an idiot, stfu, stupid and numerous other mean things to other people and they keep right on going.

Instagram’s guidelines can be confusing and seem overly strict at times. If you think the violation was a mistake, it’s worth appealing directly with Instagram.

My account is still active but they won't let me use it because the pop-up "We remove your comment" always comes on when I try using it, how do I go about that?
Hi Jemila! Try clearing the app cache and restarting your device. If it's still not fixed, you might need to appeal the violation through Instagram's support. They will surely help you fix it.
They don't even put it in violations anymore. I get violations for saying men and women need to start respecting each other. The divide is becoming even worse. I will then get get a message withing 5 seconds, saying I violated the guidelines through "spam and profiting by advertising a buisness". Then I get prevented from making comments. But yet when I check features I can use. It says my account has access to all the features and can leave comments. I contact insta for help. I get no messages back. I have sent probably 30 help messages. So I must have a stalker in Instagrams office or a sexist racist after me.

Yah, I didn't violation anything but they want a facial scan and phone number before appealing. I gave phone number but will not do all the other. Instagram will not get my drivers license. Forget it. Nah, not interested. What gives them the authority to keep track of you. Nothing happened. I only posted 9 photos and was on for 2 days and did nothing.

I'm not worried about my account being deactivated. I'm more worried about why are comments like regular old hello how are you doing comment will be flagged and be against Community guidelines or considered as a spam comment? I think a lot of people went to watch this video for that reason alone. Because a lot of people can still comment after having 6 or 7 flagged or banned comments. That's the real question why people are looking for. And why the hell do you need a government ID to get any of your restricted or banned comment unrestricted

Hi Robbin! If your post was removed due to a community guidelines violation, you can appeal the decision directly through Instagram. Go to the 'Help' section in your account settings and follow the steps to report the issue.

So. These past 2 days I've seen a lot of sneaky algorithm changes. Including.
- 1. A more narrowed and focus on the individual, (not commercial or sales)
1.b. Super narrow focusing capabilities to target emotional responses through timed apparatus (algorithm)
Allowing algorithm to narrowly also dictate a reward based scrolling system.
I belive that this is a device to train humans. It used to be how to sell a product, now I belive its being tested for actionable purposes other than commercial applications. Period!

When I tried to submit the dispute form on the browser, It’s saying my account is active and therefore I can’t submit the form.. .. but when I’m logged into Instagram I literally can’t do anything it just shows that “error message”. But I can’t even dispute it because my account is still active?! I’m so confused any help is so appreciated.

One of the problems about this is that the removal is usually done by AI. They take off a lot of my replies for no reason whatsoever besides that “excuse”.

Hey Please HELP! one of my accounts seems to have something wrong with the algorithm, selecting content every day which is against community guidelines. i appeal it which could take up to a week, and sometimes it will unselect that post but then automatically selects another post, which means i can never get content to non-followers now as there is no break in between, every time it is appealed the system will select any other post?? what can i do??

I got a community guideline compromise … they said I paid to let someone give me followers. Lol I only have 900 followers. But I WAS deleting people for being on my old niche for my biz page. They track your device and block it from there. Read the terms of service. It tells you about the information they collect
