One of the smoothest mimic veils I've seen yet. Spotted both at 3:05 as flagpoles opposite the doorway.

I think he was in the chest room, to the right of the door when leaving, or to the left when entering. Look in the corner at 0:40 or 3:04

This is honestly every third invasion I get so this is a just another day for me at this point. Really well done mimic veil and a spot I’ll keep in mind to search when I encounter this in this spot.
That was hilarious lmao like a little easter egg triggered by something. And as if on queue an invader just joins the second they break disguise. The paid actors theory is starting to make sense 😂

My weirdest one was when I couldn't find the host no matter what, I think it was either in Leyndell or here near the gatefront. I think there was simply no host or maybe they disconnected but the game kept me on their world... It happened twice.

saw him at 3:05 on the right side of the exit from the "cellar" camouflaged as a flag.
I remember invading two guys also hiding like this in that place, i was confused looking around until they came out thinking i was far away, neither to say both died quickly lol but is good to know where they hide thanks to this video

Not gonna lie, I was hoping, from the name of the title and thumbnail, that the "strange part" was the naked dude with Ranni's hat.
I loved hiding in deep root. There is some ruins near a site of grace near the white water. I would hide there and it would take invaders like 5 minutes to find me.

It’s very easy to hide in plain sight without mimic veils. You don’t even need to put much effort into camouflage either because few invaders or hosts pay any attention to the environment. I hid in a bush with no mimic veil in Farum Azula outside the lift door where the storm hawks are and four invaders came and went. Now, I know this isn’t popular I’m just making an observation. You can guarantee your opponent is swinging their camera around so fast, they’ll overlook you easily.

It’s there a talisman that makes you completely invisible when you’re crouched at a distance? I guess someone could get high up and then crouch.
Ngl, i tested that crouch talisman once by luring invaders in deeproot depths. All i did was moving around bush to bush while crouching and keeping my distance, they couldn't find me, looked clueless too lol
these guys were in the chest room, at around the 3 minute mark you can see them for a brief moment disguised as flags in the corners nearest to the door.
I loved to hide from invaders in ds3, sometimes they would find me and sometimes they left my world after trying to find me for 10minutes, I have to try this in EldenRing too.
ER invaders having a radar won't make it easy tho

I've always found it so bizarre how this series seems to attract people with a strange fetish for hiding. Did y'all not have friends to play 'hide and seek' with when you were kids or something and never got it out of your system?
It's genuinely very strange that people would want to sit somewhere for an hour just to watch someone occasionally run past their hiding spot.
On one invasion I dressed in the same colours as the rocks next to the draconic tree sentinel and used the curl up gesture (with the trick mirror obvs) to blend in. Worked extremely well.

Props when it's due. They understand hiding in Souls extremely well. Shame about the weapons and subsequent fight. Dual nagis and a fingerprint phantom? Maidenless behaviour.

Lmao I love these type of of invasions 😂 sadly the host tends to die quickly especially if I’m already on a kill streak of hunters some be funny ……had a host playing as patches at the academy long story short after killing one of the hunters I used the finger to find him ,he fought like a warrior a very dirty one but it was fun 😂 that was a new experience I made sure he suffered a swift death
