Well I can definitely say that this story is much better than the first one, FINALLY having hi-low cars in the game. W PG Studios
Yeah it is a decent story and I say I enjoyed it very much
It's a lot better but still sucks that the last 3 missions are almost the exact same for both hi and low team, with the only difference being what car breaks down and what car is on the flatbed
Fun fact the engine swaps for hi and low car are both v8s, but low car is a junkyard v8 while hi car is a crate engine v8.
Ye I noticed that it was cool they added that
They also have the low car hood for when they had to cut out pieces for the intake
What's really cool is that while hi car was fitted with the average LS, low car was fitted with a Silverado engine.

I think that there’ll be a Donut Media Part 3 because at the end of the Story they say something about the Baja and Trophy Trucks in the Jungle and that it would be incredible to do a race in it.
Its disappointing that the final chapter of both hi and low is the exact same. Wish there was at least some variety
Agreed. 1st 5 are very good while the 6th is the same thing but a different route.
@@American_Mappin even the 1st 5 are pretty much the same. Drive the car but it breaks down, drive another car, then drive the truck to the horizon festival
Was all arse to be fair, so underwhelming
It's not only the last one. The last 3 are the same exact mission but the only difference is which car breaks down and what car is on the flatbed either way they both breakdown and you drive the same exact flatbed in both missions after you break down.
Totally agree, why did I have to go through and upgrade the same car twice? Makes absolutely no sense... why am I not racing the hi car at the end of the "hi car story" and then the low car at the end of the "low car story"? Weird, felt like I was having deju vu lolol :D
4:18 while in this story, at the end when it was braking down, I turned on telemetry, and at peak hp, it showed 2HP lol
6:27 the telemetry, showed that this truck, HAS 1550HP!!! AND ~5000NM OF TORQUE
The voicelines in this story are definitely a lot better than in the previous one, like they're not robots this time
The R33 actually is underrated

Some fun facts about the Hi and Low cars in FH5:
1- Both cars have a V8 swap but the Low car is a Junkyard V8 and Hi car is a crate V8, just like the real ones
2- Low car actually has a hood option that adds the "snorkel"

Idk if anyone’s checked it out but if you look at the telemetry when you’re using the flatbed truck to race high car you can see that it’s making 1500+hp and 3300+lb/ft of torque!
That’s why it can keep up with the much smaller, more nimble 350zs
if you're wondering why they keep saying pop up up and down headlights, they're not high, they have a song called that and it's decent

Is anyone else being told they need to pay for this new car pass because I pre-ordered the game all of its DLC’s car pass plus VIP and now I’m being told I need to buy new car pass I thought I already paid for the car pass that’s why I pre-ordered it with the game so I can get every car added with the car pass’s plus I’m not gonna be thanking the developers for giving us a DLC that they promised us months ago. I don’t care why they couldn’t add in the game then why would I want it now on top of that I’ve missed every sense LC 500 trying to find an Xbox series X so I have no point to return to this game because all the good cars have a time limit and I can’t earn any of the cars I missed, even though I didn’t miss them on purpose.

I am stuck on 16/18 stars in both Hi and Low in the festival playlist, despite the fact that I have done 19 and 18 stars in them respectively. Can anyone please help me? Any suggestions will be appreciated ❤
I got back into FH5 after several months, and as soon as I loaded in, I was forced into this. This seems to be a recurring problem with FH5, it's happened to me several times now. I'm sick and tired of the game shoving this shit down my throat. I was indifferent toward Donut Media before FH5, but now I absolutely hate it.

I got a bug, in last chapter I picked Nissan 350z but it switched to Porsche GT3 that I drove in free roam between chapters, and now I can't do shit cos it says that my PI is too high, fix this PG
well the update itself is really cool, but i m still so disapointed how bad the cutscenes/animations are. Over 10 years old ForzaHorizon1 did it so much better.
Don’t really know what I expected, but they kinda seemed a little boring. I beat both in like 2 hours. So it’s a bit bland to me. And I love watching donut media.
They have Mercedes licenses!!! Why can‘t they make Mercedes busses and trucks for us to drive! I‘ve been wanting trailers for years btw

Hi can you explain how i can Switch between high and low. I Start with high and i can only make 6 race or chapters of high and then i cant go on. Only 6 of 18 what can i do? Do you check the achievements of the Story to understand how you have to continue the Story?
I’ve played this, and it completely skipped, an entire chapter for high car right between high car, breaking down and high car being on the tow truck

Hi car got a big turbo but low car got a twin setup they were similar in comparison they just couldnt find a single turbo for cheap enough💀
Some of the voice lines sound like what I’d come up with if I got high off mushrooms again. I’d also like it if we got some stuff from Throttle House in the game.
