I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one that thought she was getting way too much credit from the judges. I was thinking they watched a different performance from me. Like it wasn’t bad, it was safe. Definitely not at the level they said it was at. I laughed more at Nymphia than I did Mhi’ya.
Mhi’ya was funny though, all that matters is making Ru laugh and she did just that 😂

As a Serb, i'm so happy someone finally did a Serbian person, and even more, won, on that first impression. She did a great job at imitating Jelena's brutal honesty, provocative nature, confidence, small mannerisms but big mouth.

I'm legitimately surprised they didn't put Nymphia in the bottom this week. Even with her runway, given how much it was clear RuPaul was annoyed by her character, she was clearly Bottom 2. I don't think she would've lost the lip-sync if they'd have put her with Xunami, given her performance in the finale.

Unpopular opinion, but I don’t think Morphine did as badly as the judges made her out to do. That joke where she copied another contestant’s answers was really funny, and if you’ve watched Reinventing Anna, she was lowkey spot on.
I do think she should’ve played it up more, but she didn’t do a bad job at all.

I once got to meet the real Jane Goodall. Nymphia's impersonation is actually pretty good, except for one thing: real Jane is very funny! She has great comedic timing. If Jane Goodall herself had been in this Snatch Game panel she would have won.

It’s incredibly hard to do well in this game if English is not your first and most comfortable language. So much of comedy is cultural nuances, tone, timing, etc. comedy very rarely travels across borders well. It’s understandable
Honestly I felt like she could have been funny. Giselle Lullaby did Marie Curie, English not her first language, and is also not a fun gay icon, but turned it out! I think it’s just really faced paced character improv is not her skill, not that the character was bad.

She talks about it at a show I was at-she had props from other contestants (burger finger sunglasses, something referencing the musical sunset boulevard, something of dawns) and did bits with those like "I stole these from an off Broadway flop called Burger finger." She said she was really nervous for snatch game and there was no break between the rusical and this and she was exhausted. She felt she did a safe job either way.
It's a miracle that Amelia Earhart came back from an 87 year disappearance to come on the Snatch Game. Maybe Ru can find Jimmy Hoffa too, lol!

WOW!!! This is the 3rd year in a row that I’ve slept through half of the Snatch Game. There were some standouts like Jane and Sapphira. Mhi’ya also did a good job. But the rest of them…in the words of Raja “IM BORED!!!”

I respectfully disagree about expectations because there's a good amount of film footage and biopics over the years that showed she was soft-spoken and wore no makeup, but had a androgynous confidence about her. But Q still definitely worked because she used that Amelia was a famous female pilot and got lost while flying as the backbone for her one-liners! Very successful!
