You can rush the Snake with macemen, it makes the rest of the game a lot easier because you will no longer be harassed from the north so you can focus on the Caliph, and you also get +- 9500 gold for killing him early.
i dont know why but snake attacked me with his lord when i placed that tower to terror him xD got about 9000 gold which made later game easy :D got damn lucky there
I was worried until I saw Sergie playing and he went to build a second tower. "Woah that's gonna cost" *He instant builds it* "Wait wut....?" Then I noticed how much damn stone you started out with. The mission isn't that hard since you can enclose yourself early. Snake's and Caliph's fire play was the one thing that worried me and it was gone after I knew I had the stone to stop them.+
This was a crazy tough start, until I swallowed my pride and rushed Snake with 20 macemen. Level was a piece of cake after that (the bonus gold you get from Snake is more than enough to get your economy and army off the ground). Well, I had to build two square towers to challenge Caliph and protect my farmland. PORTABLE SHIELDS ARE A MUST. I'm starting to see how "broken" portable shields are, but in a mission like this where you are underfunded bigly you can't afford to build extra troops, you need the shields to keep your small force alive until you gather the resources to build more dudes. And with Snake out of the way I built square towers to challenge Pig as well, crippling his economy. Poor Rat and Sultan are so hapless.
Did this mission back in 2007. Failed to do it multiple times and one day I was coming back from school and it suddenly struck to my mind what if I sell everything and kill snake with arabian swordsman in the beginning and it worked 😅
dude i tried the exact same way..... but seems like in your game your opponent specially snake is little bit slow.... coz his first attack on wall is way earlier in reality but in your video it starts very late i am not even able to make shields u started your game at 43sec and got attacked at 4.05 so 4.05 - 0.43 = 3.62 sec so after starting the game you got attcked in 3mins and 62 sec (.3.62mins) but in reality snake attacked in less then 2mins and it makes huge difference

Word - this probably shaves off 20 mins or so of the battle. Makes money a non-issue.
I did the same thing but with arabic swordsmens and horse archers

If it's an easy target (like archers) they will sometimes attack with their Lord yes :)

just realize if you rush the wanker on the top you get a ridiculous amount of money and you already won the mission.
