- In this video I’m talking about the best way to clean algae from a fish tank. I have a quarantine tank that hasnt had any fish in it in a while and it has manged to grow quite a bit of hair algae. I'm showing you how to remove it and make your tank sparkle again.

How do you get Agale off your live plants I tard every thing but it won't come off
For plants with broad leaves like Anubias I use my thumb and forefinger to wipe it off. For some other stem plants I dip them in a bath of peroxide for a couple of minutes. Don’t do this with Java moss or fern. Otherwise turn your lights off except when you are looking at the tank for a couple of weeks. That’s the real answer. Usually too much light is the issue.
