In 1996 is when I started trolling Winnebago, prior to that is was just either long lining drifting Lindy rigs of slip bobbering the reefs. That time the hot baits for me were Storm Thunderstick Jr’s, Storm Hot & Tots and Cordel Wally Divers, I have so many of those that I barely use anymore but try from to time with little luck. My hot bait during the time was the Thunderstick Jr deep diver in the Rainbow Trout pattern, I have like 10 of those because every time I saw them I bought 1 or 2. Now it seems to be flicker shads, flicker minnows and now Salmo’s. Never ending buying baits and put some on moth balls! Nice video as always!
Saginaw Bay, greater Lake Huron, Canadian and Ohio waters of Lake Erie while using bigger cranks, and specially on Saginaw Bay, the Deep Jr Thundersticks and Reef Runner 600 Deep Little Rippers (hopefully they don't change under Acme) still shine using the 50/+2. Not a fan of the triple grip hooks, too many pull backs with no fish hooked up, switched the rear hook to VMC roundbends and fixed that issue.

Those still work some days. But I agree the smaller baits definitely have their days. Thanks for the comment and your support!!👍👍

What is 50 plus 2
It is a way to troll crankbaits with a 2oz weight at 50 feet then add more feet to get small baits deep. Check out the Precision Trolling App👍
A small crankbait that nobody fished anymore that catches fish is the organic storm hot n tot
For sure!!!👍👍
My buddy Craig was running one on Saturday on Castle Rock Lake. They still catch fish!!
