- Hairstylist Louis Licari and TODAY contributor Jill Martin plucked a pair of identical twin sisters from the TODAY plaza. They quickly got to work, giving the sibs stunning head-to-toe makeovers sure to set off Fourth of July fireworks.

As always, people have a favorite, although this time there was an extra challenge. In addition to making them look good they aimed at making them look different with opposite style.

I don’t know about “feeling bad” for Candy. I’m pretty sure that in her mind, any makeover is great, but yes I do agree that she should have gotten a shorter haircut and as for the dress, it just made her look older, so probably something with a shape and a more open neckline is better like a wrap dress.
Exactly my thought. I'm guessing they ended up looking alike again, but with Candy ditching her new look for Penny's new look.
That little song they sing in the beginning is soooo annoying. seriously.

i just clicked on another make over and the lady is wearing the same dress as the first twin.... ???? so the stylist only has a few outfits and the hairdresser does one color

Jenny Smith~ If you think Louis Lacari is creepy now, just be thankful he's getting plastic surgery, botox, hair color & styling. He's about 90 years old. It's smoke & mirrors @ this point, with so much plastic you could rub his face on your hair & stick him to the wall like a party ballon. Personally glad he's keeping it together. Nobody wants to see that. If you mean creepy acting, well elderly & likely feeling it. Although seems spry enough & still professionally sought after. I'll no doubt look like the Crypt Keeper if I reach 90 years old.
Second twin got the better makeover
Their hair looks great! Being an eyeglass wearer, I would want a more stylish pair of glasses, versus contact lenses. They looked like the were so uncomfortable wearing them.
WTF did they do to the first twins hair. That guy needs to be fired.
I loved it. It's kind of rock & roll and she definitely had the personality to go with it. They said in the video that she had so many layers in her hair, they kind of had to go from there. But I actually really like it. lol Different strokes for different folks, right? lol Peace

Haha they never let them wear their glasses when they come out, they always squint and lean into the mirror..loved the hair on both! You know they both stuck their glasses back on after the segment so they could actually get a good look.

I've only just started watching some of the makeover videos and the women have all looked fabulous. This is the first one where I didn't think the hairstyle suited Candy and it would be difficult to maintain . Also she had heavy eyebrows and these were left untouched. Didn't think this one was good. I agree with the comments of others that if they wear glasses all the time, then their after shot should show them wearing their glasses. Penny looked better but again after shots should include their glasses.

I think they missed the boat on the first twin. Yep, second twin a lot better but I hope she was able to keep up the look.
Their face shape is the same, i think both of them suite that straight or soft waves (if their natural hair is soft waves), and just leave it at shoulder length (long bob u shape) if they prefer short hair.
Long face do suite almost anything but sometimes, too much texture, and extreme layer is so hard to maintain and need extra time.
The side bang is quite okay 👌, the second twin side bangis very pretty
First one was sabotage. She seems upset especially when she see her sister way beautiful.

They took their glasses of them and used contacts instead...they both attractive... I feel they could of done something different with their hair for them if they really wanted them to have something really different..

Second makeover was so much better that I had to give thumbs down on this one as they were twins and it was obvious the first twin was envious of the second ones look.

The highlights were horrible- it aged them, especially Candi (I don't know how her name is spelled)
They got away with it on Penny because of the shortcut but it's a bad choice- horrible.
