I hear what you are saying about the midges! Really appreciate the tips. Especially interested in the gear, line, leader ,lures, bait etc Keep up the good work. It is really valued by many fishermen!
I’m glad you were able to get some info and tips from the vid. All that gear info should be listed in the description too in case I missed anything mate 😅
A great video. Mate, I’m interested in your drifting technique. I’m surprised you didn’t snag on some of the rubble and wire weed that’s in that area. Was your lure bouncing off the bottom, or would it have been in mid water?
Thanks mate, glad you liked it. Definitely do get snagged up, but not often as you’re consistently hopping the lure over the bottom. But if you can’t feel the bottom you can snagged up pretty quick as the current rips there.
Basically you’re just trying to use the electric to motor into the drift and slow the speed of the boat in the current. That way you’re basically just dropping straight to the bottom and sitting over the top of your lure as you still drift downstream. Hope that helps explain it a little better 😅
Oh Wow...First snapper 👀 Brilliant. Even the second one is incredible😆👏👏. The jew would have been nice smoked. Goodness me you make look so easy - which - we all know this is not the case as you would have invested a lot of time and years of exposure to fishing, to achieve this, not to mention the editing of invested time of the hunt out in the water..
Bruh I’ve tried my luck for snapper in the brissy river and never had any luck..I’ve been watching your vids for the last two months and I love what you’re doing. If you don’t mind invite me when you go out next time. 😂 I got a boat lol
Thanks mate, appreciate it. Definitely a lot of time on the water and luck involved 😅 I’ve been getting a lot of people wanting to go out with me now days 😂 if I could I would. Don’t be a stranger if you do see me out on the water though, always up for a chat 🤙
what tide times are the best around there for slow drifts? I've only ever been out there once in my little tinnie and the drift was insanely fast, I couldn't even fish it cause I don't have an electric motor to keep up with it haha sick video tho man keep it up!
Definitely your neaps, but I mean even then you’re still gonna get a lot of run mid tide. The closest you’ll get to a slow drift is right around the last of the run out first of the run in. But you won’t get long. Thanks for watching mate, glad you enjoyed it. 🤙
Hey JOSH, MATE , i am North/side Bris, the colour in Molix, in OrANGE -BLACK uv , CAN YOU GIVE ME THE thumbs up on your store having a little trouble locating this one. 4" or 5" ? Cheers mate Chris PS. MISS THE MIDNIGHT RUN U DO ON MUDDIES, THRILL SEAKER.
Yeah it’s UV metallic black orange. I normally get most of my lures from either tackle warehouse or Charltons. Tides through summer aren’t normally real flash of a nighttime for crab walks, but just coming into some good tides now. So you may see a video or two in the near future. 😏

Hi Josh I'm interested in your drifting technique. Do you cast or feed your lure into the current until it bottoms?
Thanks mate.

Haha you’ve got a good understanding there. Lots of vested time involved in the whole process from fishing and filming to the Final Cut. Thank you 🙏🏻
I always anchor there.
Diferent strokes for different folks.
It fishes well, but like you say different for everyone 👌

Hello 🫡😂
@@BrisVegasFishing seems like a great time to go fishing. When do we go? Lol!
@@mrgreenswelding2853 haha sorry mate. Don’t take Just anyone out 😅
If u dont want company why tell everybody where you are??
I just don’t like poor boat etiquette. (people cutting in front of your drift for example) I’m still happy to have other boats around.
