I've purposely avoided hitting 80 on my priest because I know that once I do I'll never get to DPS with my rogue or hunter again, and I don't care to be as underappreciated as I was when I was healing at seventy again.
As for the priest that keeps my pally alive when I pull four groups of mobs at once...thank you, and may your mana bar always be full.
Disc priests are just over here in the corner being a nice little half n half of the class, still being able to vibe to the song lol

Holy is DOABLE in pve right now but you really have to know what you're doing. I have a feeling you don't really know what healbot is. If you aren't using an addon like GRID, or Healbot, then you're doing it wrong. The raid frames that blizzard has will make your efficiency shit.

i make my own macros and i am always top heals with no healbot or grid maybe you just don't know your class enough to do without

Heather Knight It's possible to do well without add-ons if you are a keyboard player, although pretty condescending to act as though lots of complex macros are so much different than add-ons. I prefer a mouse myself with just a few keys that I really use, and get very annoyed at the general condescending attitude of keybinding players towards people who dare to prefer a different play style than they do, but do acknowledge it can be an efficient way to play for those who take to it well.
EssGee heh I just now saw this. TBH, using mouseover macros is no different from using an addon like Clique or VuhDo to heal. You're just binding the spells to different keybinds from actual action bars. I also don't buy that somehow using addons makes you "less." I use VuhDo because I am very particular about how debuffs display on my bars . VuhDo offers me serious control over what debuffs display and how they will display, as well as giving me total control over how I want my raid frames to look. This is really important to me. If other people don't like it, that's cool, but forcing yourself to use the stock frames and no addons isn't a mark of distinction. It just means you're a masochist. >.>

+Peps Ludvs yeah WoW WAS best when TBC was newest expansion. WotLK is good too, but Cata MoP sucks. WoD is good too cause Blizzard added a Garrisons, but still newest expansions aren't good enought. TBC was best ;)

I agree... we priests are seriously underappreciated. I can outheal droods, pallys, shammys and STILL I'm looked upon by those that don't know me as Tank healer... at best.

Fantastic! I'm a Shadow Priest but as soon as I started raiding with my guild they paid me to dual spec, so 80% of the time I'm rollin' holy~
I play on 80 Priest on Blades Edge (EU). My first and only serious character. Thanks for the recognition, Priests are definitely the hardest healer classes, though from my little experience on other unserious characters, healer is the easiest thing to do by far.

haha i ran naxx alot, never got gear and just when a DK only shoulders drop i lost it to a warrior that just won shoulders for himself. thats when i quit pug groups and my love for WoW begin to die that day. Your music is like the only thing thats keeping me in touch with the game

This still rings true today. Just ask that Night Elf Rogue that tried to Gank my Priest Dragonheir last month. She was questing and he tried to use the mobs, killed him anyway as well as the mobs IE six different heals but whatever.
There's the one that oxhorn made "tank tank heal tank" something like that, but it's more to do with raids...AP Evil got a raid PUG and it turned out to be ninja looters, after which he snapped and became LC Virtue

I love this vid. My main is a Tauren Prot Warrior, and this vid, coupled with the healer shortage and the fact that I've had the displeasure of grouping with "bad" healers (before I met them I thought there was no such thing) made me roll a Troll Holy Priest. I love it, and as far as I'm concerned Disc is for people who just couldn't cut it as Holy. I'll continue changing peoples' minds one group, one CoH and one PoM at a time.

So true, on my priest I'm constantly keeping bad tanks afloat then having the group thank them for being good, entirely ignoring my contribution. Sometimes it just makes me want to let the tank die by not healing them for a second.

Yeah don't need no hate. My first "toon" was a holy priest and it was a LONG climb to the cap back when mount level was still 40. These scrubs have it sooo good these days. Still stuck at 73. Grrr! Pug groups still hate on us squishies in randoms.
