Lake Arrowhead is a reservoir that supplies the surrounding community, known as "The Woods," with drinking water. The bottled Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water comes from a variety of sources including sites in California, Colorado, and Canada. The site associated with Lake Arrowhead comes from an aquifer at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains near Arrowhead Springs. The State of California has issued a cease and desist order against the bottlers of Arrowhead Mountain Spring Water, formerly Nestle Waters now Blue Triton Brands:

Arrowhead water is not from the lake. Nestle gets its water by stealing it. For 70 years they have been pumping water out of the mountain using an expired permit from the US Forest service. Recently this theft was ended by the state of calif.

@@MagdaandKyleIt's actually wayer taken from a mountain stream in the San Bernardino mountains on public land. They have been doing this illegally for years using a permit that expired long ago. Environmentalists have successfully fought this since it is draining the water resources, and the company is being forced to stop. Just an FYI. Lol

The San Bernardino deputy who was killed during a shootout with suspect killer Christopher Dorner has been identified as Det. Jeremiah MacKay, said the San Bernardino County's Department during a news conference on Wednesday. Sheriff John McMahon said that MacKay, 35, was pronounced deceased at the hospital. According to McMahon, MacKay was a member of the sheriff's department for 15 years and that he was married and a father to two children -- a 7-year-old girl and a 4-month-old son.
MacKay was presently assigned to the Yucaipa station but was also a detective at the Big Bear station.
"My sincere condolences go out to the MacKay family," said McMahon. "This is truly another sad day for law enforcement. Our department is grieving from this event." MacKay was killed Tuesday as authorities closed in Dorner, wanted for killing two civilians and a Riverside cop, while he was holed up in a vacant cabin in the Angelus Oaks area of Big Bear.

Lived there 20 years. You really think the bottled water is from the lake? Make sure you know where the bathrooms are located.

Well, if credit and historical facts of the greek and roman culture/influence on Europe that explored the world and figured out ships, 10 story buildings, the bronze age 600yrs ago belonged to african, Chinese or South Americans then the dark skin man would have taken your land from you and you would ve less mad at whites? Just sayin bro - Observable facts>feelings...it is what it was.

Sorry Arrowhead bottled water is not from Lake Arrowhead. there is spring at the bottom of the mountain. And it isn't even bottled from there now mainly. And there is NO Mr Arrowhead. It was named due to the natural arrowhead on the in the side of the mountain

I just came back from Lake arrowhead Fourth of July weekend. That was very cool! Big firework show and the boat tour about the city was awesome.
