  • The EZ-SINE-VISE-JAWS enable the machinist to quickly and accurately set up angular work with a minimum of hassle.
The time saved by using the protractor function more than offsets the cost of the set. Floating parallels and fixed parallels support the work at any angle. The fixed parallels won't fall out or blow out when clearing chips either.
The jaws will fit Any 6" KURT vise or any import 6" vise with 3.875" bolt spacing.

How about just skip the jaws, and use a 45 deg block? jjs

I have an old shars sine vise that I hardly use anymore, since I've been working with 5-axis CNC. I'm going to take the thing and try to machine it for removable jaws. Basically, I want to put screw holes in it. It should be interesting, and probably won't go very well, but I figure that I don't really have all that much to lose since I don't use the vise much anymore and I could stand to gain a lot if it works. The idea is to EDM the holes for bolts to go all the way through and thread into the jaws. Less than ideal, but I don't expect any hole in the sine vise to be easily threaded, especially a hole that small: probably 3/8-16. Any thoughts on this? Complete madness?

That's great if I'm using plastic or brass otherwise why don't you just use a turn table dial in your ankle and call it good
