this song doesn't hit me on a personal level but the thematics of the lyrics with the subtle visuals tell such a sad story with such a strong beautiful mindset behind the protagonist's POV. 8 months later it still strikes a nerve (in a good way).

I love the greater variety of clean vocal sections. Laurens voice is just too good to be limited to just the chorus. Killed it!
As much as I liked Redeemer I do agree that it went a bit too far into the heaviness and lost a bit of their identity in the process.
Not entirely convinced by this song and I miss the Protest The Hero vibes they used to have. But it's pretty good and I do appreciate that it cuts down on the heaviness a little.

Life keeps getting harder but all my favorite bands keep getting better. Gods be praised, I'd have it no other way!
There are very few songs that I don’t get burnt out on. I can’t put finger on why this is an exception except for the fact that every riff/lyric/beat has so much emotion poured into it. It’s one of those songs that you pass by at first but after the 3rd of 4th listen, it starts to etch itself into your mind and soul until it lives there rent free, and I’m not complaining. Freaking amazing.
The energy is BEYOND immaculate, and I don't just mean the music. Look at them all they're having the time of their life!
