Draining the pool. Because summer is coming to a close. Fall and Winter is just around the corner. :)

First frame upside down Memphis . I think what they put on the road is sealant to glue the rocks more. The pool is going away cause your getting a better pool. Does Kira have any marbles left? She has lost a few. Memphis is such a cute swimmer. I love all the pups more and more every vlog

Inground pool is my guess. Even better would be an addition over an inground pool so it is useable year round.
They live too far north for it to be usable year round. Once the temps fall into the 50s at night even heated pools have to be closed up for the season. It will give them more use out of it if they have a heated pool but it will not be year round.
@@juliasanders5109 Maybe. I live far north too (except in New England) but same latitude and get similar weather/temperature (except without lake effects). People do have in-ground pools covered and heated so it can be used year-round here. Not nearly as common as enclosed pools in Florida, for example. But they do still exist... for the right cost, of course.

Yup, this was Shelby's pool. We got it for her for her birthday right before she passed. More info coming in the next few vlogs!

You're getting an in-ground pool put in, but one with levels so Kira can have her deep swimming pool & Memphis can have her wading pool
yes. Like a wave pool without the waves, so the dogs can wade into their level of comfort. Memphis won't have to swim as she gets older where she isn't comfortable.

You’re lucky you don’t have an inground pool because it’s even harder to drain those because how small the drains are
If they had an in-ground pool, I don’t think they’d need to drain it nearly as often as they do this above ground pool.

They did that to the road inbetween where I liive and where I work and it ended up causing one tire to blow out completely and the two front ones to *almost* get blown out. I don't quite understand it either but I think it's supposed to make the roads less slick in the long run by causing more bumps for traction.

@Your Heart Comes First in my state, keeping road crews employed and spending the annual Fed. money is a real "thing". That's not to say it's a good thing, but the way the bureaucracy works (or dysfunctions)is if this years funds aren't fully used, they not only don't carry over to next year, they are diminished by that amount the following year. Crazy, like so much these days. Perhaps it's different there in Snow Dogsland?

Keep that one...Inground pool is alot more maintenance espicially in the Winter time and you guys have harsh Winters, the pipes would be a problem etc...

If it’s a leak the patches work I’ve had 5 different pools over the years I can fix anything pool or pond. . The pump is about 125 bucks unless you know where to buy them
