You may blame the look of the car ,but the fact is that the handling ,millage and ride quality is better than any other maruti
I have been driving Ignis for 1 yr now. God Damn it s a fine car, it still surprises me even now. Butter smooth engine, getting mileage of 18kmpl (without AC) and prime features, all within 6-7 Lakhs!
Yes it's facelift is even better steering feedback is also good 👍 and top model cost just 8 lakhs and interiors are superb

I have recently bought Zeta AMT 2020 version. Steering returns after turn. No issues. Please review a 2020 facelift model as Maruti has significantly improved it in 2020.

The car is very good and it is one of the best cars in this budget. And you can go for it. I have it and am satisfied with it. Don't focus on the disadvantages.
Does it really have streeng issue that it dose not come back to normal position and it stops in between.because I m going to book ignis next week.
They improved steering also in bs6 facelift version, steering returns perfectly, now it's a perfect car.

It's basically hit or miss u either love it or hate it my brother hates the design but at the same time my friend just loves it but my brother drives a wagon R n my friend drives a Polo 😂😂 so i guess it's mostly personal preference

Steering problem is their in baleno also. But most of the customers doesn't know about it. When I complained about it they changed Steering column set under warranty.(cost is nearly 38000). Now its working perfectly .

Ignis very famous in international market with power full1.4L engine and four-wheel drive capacity
Apart from few glitches like the design, its either love it or hate it thing, non availability of self centering, its a good buy from nexa. Build quality is fair, the crash scores are good and it has been rated with "Good protection for dr and co dr"..
High GC, 15" wheels from base varient and a trusted 1.2 L engine, surely an underrated product of MS. For those upgrading from a wagonR, its worth considering.
Ignis is underrated & purely a city drivers car for Indian Roads. It does have decent build Quality as compared to Wagon R, Celerio & Alto. It has the best Petrol 1.2 K-Series engine. Refined, Responsive & Efficient.
Instead of white interior they should have gone for medium or light Gray or Complete black. Except for base they should have offered Adjustable driver seat & Alloy wheels as Premium small hatch to improve Sales Nos. against Competition. .

👉Good power with instant pickup
mailage 15.5 to 17.5 in city or village area depend upon your driving on avg we 16 and 20+ on heihway
without single service .. I hope after engine oil change it will increase 2km more ..approx 18
👉 front look and side look was really awesome ..
👉seating position and Ground clearance was very good which gives comfortable ride in long drive & rough roads.
👉 visibility is also very good
👉 Maruti service Network and resale value ..
👉it's better than swift in all aspects except it's Design from back ..
it's better than Tiago in engine smoothness and space ..
better than Nios in ground clearance and maintenance cost .
better than punch in Driving experience ..
Cons :. Back look very Disappointing you , in 15 years .. you will think about more then 15000 times ki kya le lya ye .. kas swift le leta baleno ya Nios ,punch etc ..
👉build quality is poor but better then swift,alta Celerio,wegnar etc
👉 due to more height when we down window mirrors it will make uncomfortable drive .. so you mostly trying your drive with close mirror with ac .. which drop a little bit meilage .. some times no need of ac then too.
👉 interior plastic Quality of Maruti is not Good it will give a bad smell during heat of sunlight which was very bad .. make vomiting to some people

Its one of the best car from maruti. I am using Zeta BS6 version its awasome. Its using Electric power steering that far better than standard power steering so the handling is very easy. Its far better than wagon R and Swift. Ignis using 15 inch wheels compare with swift or wagon R both using 14 inch wheels. Very good visibility, Virtually no noise or vibration. Getting good milage also.

Bought February month ignis over Tata Tiago... it's just fun of driving..drive 4000 KM 1st service done.. milage city 16 to 17 highway 20 to 21 , ignis is smart choice actually..
Hundai vehicles give not more than 70% of the specified milage .

Bro once drive it's facelift facelift wali ka steering feed back bahut badiya hai and return bhi easily ata hai but Haan purani wali ka steering feedback is not good and service centre Wale nhi kar skte resolve isko

Because this model will have the steering auto return issue. I would like to know whether this can be resolved through the service center at least in 2024 as they might have found a solution after getting these complaints.
Also would like to know whether the sheet metal quality and paint quality and overall plastic quality is degraded in the facelift version.

I have bought ignis zeta in 2020 and I love this car I brought this car after checking out and test driving 3 different cars it taken 3 months to go through each details,pros and cons. Finally my love arrived.
If your points of priority are : Style+comfort+mileage+maintenance+saftey+tallboy design budget= IGNIS
Of course the greatest challenge for me was choosing between TIAGO & IGNIS. As Tiago build quality was far superior than ignis but ignis has more space,comfort, easy to drive quality,engine reliability and refiness. Saftey was moderate but far better than santro,swift,nios.
Agar aapke liye boot space aur tall design zayda importance nahi rakhta toh choose TIAGO (best hai bhai chota bomb hai kya power hai us gaadi ka).
If your most priority is SAFTEY then TIAGO.
Hyundai ki budget mei ane waali ek hi gaadi best hai aur wo hai Grand i10.

@@p.k.5332 see I mostly drive at 70-100 range, once on highway i accelerated upto 120kmph with 4 adults and fully loaded boot and found a litte discomfort. Still if you want a car that can easily achive turns at such speeds consider TIAGO

I bought Ignis Delta, this is really best car, even I drive many other car like I 10, tata punch, kiwid and many other, but after drive Ignis I realy I am very happy this is under rated car but this is best and now staring is much better in 2023 car

Ignis is well designed except the 3 slits on the C pillar & white inside door insert & part of dash. Its a well build car with best 1. 2 K Series engine for performance & efficiency, comfortable Ingress-Egress, good ground clearance & fairly good drive comfort & handling.
Perfect car for city, ideal for 40+ & senior citizens. Much Better than Wagan R or Dracula looking S Presso.
If an accessories is produced to cover C-pillar & roof appears to look as floating than IGNIS might cloak better Sales nos. for Maruti.

Steering does not come back in it's normal position when the car's wheel alignment and balancing isn't done from a long time, After wheel alignment and balancing the steering becomes very very light and comes easily on it's straight tyre position.

@@vaibhav_naik hahaha I have 2011 zen estilo very good car first owner and just today I am going to do 27000 of expenditure on it, it includes whole front suspension and many other things, even before I gave that car for service it was going smooth, but actually there are not issues, they need to be changed before they start giving issues, many people tend to delay the faults to be repaired because of money problems and then one bad part creates chain reaction and the car becomes more faulty, as asked about buying that car, one should buy that car if he/she has car price plus one lac rupees for the expenditures to make the car running good and non headache giver, just it should not have rust because everything can be changed but even body repair work can't stop the rust, I had two cars even before this car, if you buy new Maruti car for first five years you don't have worry about anything.

I had one observation while TDing the car. The roof line is thicker at the edge along the entire body than other cars, and one has to be a bit careful bending while entering/exiting. Maybe it improves structural rigidity.

The maruti ignis has 3 star rating in NCAP. The Africa specification ignis which is manufactured in India was tested and it earned 3 stars for adult safety and 1 star for child safety. The ignis is slightly better in terms of protection when compared to baleno and swift. This car can be a mid way between safety and peace of mind in ownership. There are more safer cars in the same segment of other companies like Tata but their after sales service, engine refinement and long term mechanical reliability is questionable. Thus, the ignis should be a decent choice. Nice ownership review.
Ignis build quality is much better than baleno, this car in maruti in its segment has stable footwell.
Overall Rating Is One Star And Three Star Is In Euro N Cap But Their Safety Is On Other Level Indian Segment Safety Is Just One Star
1)Recling angle of the back rest of the back seat is bad. It will be too tiring to seat for long. 2) Rear wiper for hatchback cars is important, you get them only on higher varients and at that price, well is it worth ?

I'm from Thane, Maharashtra; but I drive my car most of d times in Mumbai city.
I'm having Ignis from September 17, clocked 23,000 kms, Petrol Delta verient, Manual transmission.
My car steering problem 70% resolve as I clocked 20,000 kms.
I'm getting 14km/ltr average in city & 20.3 km/ltr at highway.
I'm also feeling body rolling issue after I crossed 110km/hr.
I choose dis car just bcoz of back side, as it's looks like tomstone on back bumper. And another part is NCAP rating about this car.
3rd most important thing is I saw on video, where Ignis 4x4 version is doing offroading with Toyato 4x4 Jeep version.
So I finalize dis car,
Some time I feel it's wrong decision to buy Ignis in petrol, I should had to go for diesel version dat time, as diesel is available dat time

Ignis is the good car..I took this to Leh and I didn’t faced any issue not even 1 puncture ...I drove in Khardungla pass as well...no problem happened...
The staring return issue is fixed in new Ignis 2020

Me ek sal se use kr raha hu ignis se fulky satisfied hu highway pe great milage deti he ,400 km chalane ke bad bhi thakan nhi he ,or abhi cng kravayi bhaiya me petrol pe accilater press krne ke bad sochta nhi tha but cng me sochna odta he kyu ki cng to or ye tej bhagti he ,meri taraf se jisne bhi fyde ka soda he ye😊
