EFG% is always going to be higher for 3 point shooters. A 3 point shot is worth 1-1/2 compared to a 2 point shot. A player can have a lower field goal percentage but a higher efg than a player if 2 of there made shots were 3 pointers.

Magic Johnson in my mind was the ultimate “MVP”. Of the two, when you go into “triple double” territory that is a game changer. Most of the professional WNBA and NBA players are scorer and/or defenders. But a triple double player don’t need to be the top scorer of the team because they put the other teammates in position to score. That is why the more Caitlin Clark continue to score triple doubles the more her team will continue to succeed. As Caitlin Clark get more triple doubles her spot as “rookie of the year” will be secured and her challenge for MVP overall will be within reach. Triple doubles are not that common in the WNBA. With that one she is tied for six place. Two more triple doubles and she will be tied for third place with Candace Parker with 3 triple doubles. The leader is Alyssa Thomas with 10 triple doubles. Double doubles are good personal stats. But triple doubles elevates the whole team.

One thing to also look at. Caitlin leads in 3 of the 5 major, points, assists, and blocks. Angel leads in rebounds They are tied at 1.4 for steals. But, whole Angel is great in rebounds and ranked #1 overall in the league, Caitlin is top 20 in rebounds. However Caitlin is #2 in assists, .5 apg behind Alyssa Thomas. Angel isn't even in the top 50 for assists. Caitlin is top 20 across points, assists, rebounds, blocks and steals. Reese isn't even top 50 for blocks or assists. Reese is very good, but Caitlin is solid in every area, although she has a few turnovers. Overall Caitlin is the better player which is tough the way she is defended harder than any other point guard I've seen in 27 years. It took Caitlin a while to really get a handle on it, but she has had 1 triple double, 6 double doubles, was the fastest to 300/100/100. Still 18-23 games left for teams, the rest of the season could get very interesting.

Angel is getting much better where CC is doing well facilitating, but certain things aren't getting better and her scoring is all in the teens lately. I want to see CC in the next games, even this one today against the Liberty, start to diversify her offense. It's either drive to the right side of the rim and take a layup, or the left side and take it with the right hand or shoot a lot of 3s. CC has to do more between the 3 point line and at the rim. Floaters need to work as well. Angel is now at 13.1 and certainly will go up with her scoring 27 points. She also had 2 blocks. She made 2 of 2 3-point shots. And she's a factor in the 4th quarter, something that people watching the game will notice where Caitlin is not really doing all that much in the 4Q. Most of the professional WNBA and NBA players are scorer and/or defenders. But a triple double player don’t need to be the top scorer of the team because they put the other teammates in position to score. That is why the more Caitlin Clark continue to score triple doubles the more her team will continue to succeed. As Caitlin Clark get more triple doubles her spot as “rookie of the year” will be secured and her challenge for MVP overall will be within reach. Triple doubles are not that common in the WNBA. With that one she is tied for six place. Two more triple doubles and she will be tied for third place with Candace Parker with 3 triple doubles. The leader is Alyssa Thomas with 10 triple doubles. Overall Caitlin is the better player which is tough the way she is defended harder than any other point guard I've seen in 27 years. It took Caitlin a while to really get a handle on it, but she has had 1 triple double, 6 double doubles, was the fastest to 300/100/100. Still 18-23 games left for teams, the rest of the season could get very interesting.

Monica has remained the same in her opinion of the debate between angel and CC it was about a week ago she had CC as her ROY. Holding her same argument about standings. She thinks both of them are good. That’s not bias. Sometimes we need to watch how we say somethings. Both are great and their own position. They don’t play the same position. That’s what’s so unique about these two women in there rookie season. Great channel but you may want to do more research yourself. Calling her bias when all she has been doing is trying to create a voice for more women. I also understand it’s your opinion. Just wanted to inform you she had the same energy with CC and no one was mad about it.
Standings could be used but not the end all be all if you ask me but Reese has had an impact on a team as despite being a rookie she is already the leader. That means something. She at times carrying a team with not much to work with. We are still a work in progress so getting this ahead of that is really nice.

Her team is screwing her over by making her the main distributer at 6ft. when they got smaller PGs on the team. They should have her play off-ball running off screens for shots. It's like they don't want to win. Meanwhile, Angel is in the perfect position of just being on the blocks for rebounds and paint points. She'll probably end up winning.

Isn't Caitlin beating angel Reese in every stat except rebounds.... Rebounds which include rebounds from her own missed shots. Chicago are 3rd in the eastern conference compared to Indiana who are 4th though Indiana have played 2 more games. Pretty dangerous saying that the ladder position makes the difference.
Angel is getting much better where CC is doing well facilitating, but certain things aren't getting better and her scoring is all in the teens lately. I want to see CC in the next games, even this one today against the Liberty, start to diversify her offense. It's either drive to the right side of the rim and take a layup, or the left side and take it with the right hand or shoot a lot of 3s. CC has to do more between the 3 point line and at the rim. Floaters need to work as well. Angel is now at 13.1 and certainly will go up with her scoring 27 points. She also had 2 blocks. She made 2 of 2 3-point shots. She took midrange jumpers .She shot 10 free throws. And she's a factor in the 4th quarter, something that people watching the game will notice where Caitlin is not really doing all that much in the 4Q. Caitlin is simply too competitive to allow Angel to take the ROY favored award from her but I hope Caitlin starts playing more aggressively starting today.
