- These days, moving around the city doesn’t involve just cars or motorcycles. A lot of commuters and motorists alike have shifted to using active transport vehicles as a means to get from point A to B.
We recently tried out one ourselves: the Sundiro Honda S07. We got to try out the e-bike for a couple of weeks to see just how exactly it fares in our daily commute in Metro Manila. Here’s our full review.

Target market of these are usually students, short distance commuters, or vehicle owners who would ditch their cars for work commute (traffic/parking/fuel costs) or motorcycles (maintenance/registration/fuel costs) on top of being part of the e-movement.
This will actually pay for itself vs petrol or diesel fed vehicles especially with the rising cost of fuel. Charging is like 10 pesos per charge for 50 to 60kms at least
Its really a matter of how one will use it as well as one’s view of an investment

Water rated/tested po ba ito lalo na sa pinas na maulan and bahain sa ibang area? Ano po kaya DOs and don'ts?
Sana standard sa mga motor yung lockable na hook sa handlebar.

Malaki price difference vs nwow.
Looks: mas ayos nwow turtle king. Parang fino na scooter.
Durability: may vid na nabalian ang nwow TK ng parang swing arm. Kaya nag 2x2 nako bumili.
Price: 70k+ yata yang honda. Nwow tk 36k+
I'd want one, should it be fully resistant to wet weather season. That's the only thing needed for this to be justified for its price, at least for me who easily understands the long-term advantages of going electric despite the way shorter range vs typical ICE scooters.
Might make me think twice in keeping my trusty Xiaomi 1S longer than I planned should it really be capable of covering at least 60km when running at the 30-45km/h mode.
There are many reasons bakit yan kukunin ng mga tao, to save gas, avoid hassle kasi di need ng driver's license and its small kaya can fit the elevator, pwede ipark sa loob ng condo so no need to pay for parking.
if it can run 60 km/h what's the range? kung pang 60km lang range bale isang oras lowbatt na?

Would this still work if there’s a slight rain or shallow floods? That’s the downside of most electric kick scooter. I would consider this if this is water proof/resistant because the battery is hidden in the seat.
Yes still working kahit nung nagdaan bago pa wala naman naging promblem sealed lahat ng mga connector niya sa loob ng unit
Not clear how many km kaya nya takbuhin. Also it can available for higher voltages like 60v or 72v also the amphere can upgrade in the future?
Yes it can be upgraded, madami ng gumagawa niyan dito sa pinas.. Kahit saan may ebike tech na.. Besides ang top speed and kung ilang km naka depende po bigat ng mga sasakay kaya hindi specific.. 🙃

That's not classified as an ebike sir. Ang ebike, yung bisikleta na may motor. Classified yan as an e scooter.
the only concern for me is the battery since its using lithium ion meaning the replacement will be expensive rather than lead acid...also more prone to burn than lead acid..yet the advantage would be the weight since lithium is less heavy than acid.
Yes expensive pero sir mas matagal ang life cycle nya and magaan at mas malakas no problem naman sa issue na mag burn basta ingatan lang nag stop naman ang charger nya once na green na atop charging na

The misconceptions about lithium ion batteries ay mostly gawa-gawa lang ng mga nagbebenta ng lead-acid batteries. Nagmature na ang Li-Ion battery technology. Unless DIY yung Li-Ion battery mo ay makakasiguro kang safe ito.

same specs in terms of engine power and battery cap ng mga tig 9000 pesos chinese ebike. That 79k is too steep a price. Probably half of the price is bcoz the brand Honda

This ebike would be useful for foreigner without Philippines driving licence who stays longer than three months (can not drive on foreign license after three months).
Gusto ko lang naman tingnan yun bago e bike ng honda, dumugo pa nga ang ilong ko.

Sa Price.. Mas ok na ito kaysa sa mga Stand Up E-scooter na mas mahal pa sa price, sirain, matagtag sa lubak kahit hindi naman malubak(LOL), laging flat at ang hirap palitan ng gulong (in which sa pag palit ng gulong eventaully masisira nanaman). No matter what brand your Stand -up E-Scooter. Mind you may mga stand up e-scooter na ang price is 50, 70, 100, or even 150k..
Naka lithium ion batteries na pala bakit 6-8 hours parin ung charging time? ang cheap ng company bakit di pa gumamit ng fast charge na 1 hour Lang full na ,,...sakin kasi ganun gamit ko sa ebike

Sir magbabawas yan ng battery bar pag lumagpas po kau ng 100km matipid po kasi yun bosch motor kaya akala nio po eh sira ang monitor nya hehehe

Once it beats electric kick scooters in range and top speed then I'd gladly look into purchasing one. The only advantage this has is it's seated. I'd rather buy a Fiido that's modded or a motorcycle. Hopefully more development is made in the near future.

Hi, can I ask what is the purpose of the pedal? Is it for assisting or you charge the battery using it?
You could theoretically pedal this e-bike with the attached pedals, but the keyword there is "theoretically".. The position of the pedals are awful and you'd be hard-pressed to pedal this thing for less than a few meters, let alone your actual destination.. The pedal's purpose really is just so that Honda could still label this as an e-bike and not as an e-motorcycle/e-scooter thus avoiding certain regulations such as needing to have it registered, insured etc. in certain countries..
@@jeanalex8992 thanks for clearing this up!.. even the stores that sell this ebike cannot answer me properly about the pedal😅....I don't know if I should call it a smart move or whatnot from honda just to avoid regulations about this scoot hahahahaha
@@notcommon1552The pedal is actually useless at all. Just because this bike is made in China, it must comply with China's ridiculous new national electric bike standards.

I just wish na hindi nila baguhin yung design, example yung Yamaha X Max, if gagawin nilang EV yon, sana same design nalang tapos gawing EV. Medyo masagwa kc design ng EV na to (for me ah) mas ok pa if medyo i-hawig nila to sa Mio.

Owner po ako ng s07 same color... ndi ko alam na hanggang 3rd mode ang meron ang alam ko kase mode 1 -25 kph and mode 2 - 50kph 😅, ask ko lang kung anong "size" ng shock nito...gusto ko kase palitan ng mas magandang shock eto if ever... anyway good review 👌
