what I love more about Damian Playing is that he is not a super clean Player, he still have that dirt that make his playing more human and expressive, more badass as well...not a mechanic player// he puts a lot of passion and he risk himself when he plays/// is vulnerable and that make him a better artist and Guitarrist
He is real guitarist, not TH-camr guitarist,, i loved how he play and improvisation, It reflects her character when singing with her guitar , Everything that is played is pure with feel, and not just memorized , very different with many guitarist on TH-cam today's

I agree. I'm not as good technically but I also am an emotional player and that makes me sound better than I actually am, lol. I get completely bored listening to most shredders these days because it's all just cold technique. That was impressive in the 80's when it was new, but now it just all sounds the same and I don't connect with it.
Very nice! I can appreciate that he doesn't rely on hammer-on's and other guitar tricks. He throws them in just to show he can do it but also shows he has real talent. Unfortunately, since Eddie Van Halen hit the scene back in the late 70's showing his nothing short of stellar talent and inventiveness, a million new guitarists have followed in his footsteps worldwide. I'm not trying to take anything away from this kid as he definitely has the stuff. I'm just saying he's got a ton of competition. I hope he does well!

As far as Eddie Van Halen goes, he is the pioneer and innovator most modern guitar players follow even three years after his passing. Show a little respect for the man who single handedly increased the number of new guitar players tenfold in the last fourty plus years and stop assuming you know things you clearly haven't the first clue about. Oh, and by the way, sorry to beak the bad news to you but your countless hours at Guitar Hero doesn't nor will it ever qualify you as a musician. BYE!..................lmao.
Curious if you know what scales and modes youre playing, or is it just licks you learned by ear? If you know what you're doing then I don't understand why you're not a professional guitarist because you have the technical skills and can connect to them emotionally The question then is, do you know how to write, arrange, transpose, change keys, etc.
