Sheikh Hamdan (فزاع Fazza) attends UAE SWAT Challenge

Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended today the fifth and final day of the first edition of the UAE SWAT Challenge. The international event took place at Dubai SWAT Training Facility, Al Rowaiyah.
The challenge is held under patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and under the directive of Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Major-General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri. 60 SWAT teams from 50 country participated in the event.
During the visit, sheikh Hamdan inspected the challenge’s range and talked with some of the participants. He was briefed on the SWAT’s operations and tactics. Major-General Al Marri also briefed Sheikh Hamdan about the facility and the participating teams.
International Teams go head to head within 5 Challenge Categories that will test these global tactical and weaponry professionals for the purpose of encouraging exchange of techniques and promote the high level of tactical skills, mental focus and physical endurance possessed by SWAT Teams.
UAE participated with 8 teams; 2 teams from Dubai Police, 2 teams from Abu Dhabi Police, a team from Sharjah Police, a team from RAK Police, a team from Fujairah Police and a team from Q71. (14 February, 2019)

شهد سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ولي عهد دبي رئيس المجلس التنفيذي رئيس مجلس دبي الرياضي، قبل ظهر اليوم، فعاليات اليوم الخامس والختامي للنسخة الأولى من تحدي الامارات للفرق التكتيكية، والذي أقيم خلال الفترة من 10 إلى 14 فبراير الجاري بالمدينة التدريبية في منطقة الروية.
وشارك في فعاليات التحدي الذي أقيم تحت رعاية الفريق سمو الشيخ سيف بن زايد آل نهيان نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية وبإشراف سعادة اللواء عبد الله خليفة المري القائد العام لشرطة دبي، 60 فريقاً من 50 دولة تنافسوا خلال خمسة أيام على جوائز قدرها 170 ألف دولار من خلال 5 فئات مختلفة ومن أجل تشجيع تبادل الأساليب الفنية والخطط التكتيكية وتعزيز مستوى المهارات التكتيكية والتحمل البدني للفرق.
وقام سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، خلال زيارته للفعالية بجولة في ميدان التحدي والحديث مع المشاركين في البطولة والتعرف على كافة العمليات التكتيكية التي يقومون بها.
كما تعرف سموه من اللواء عبدالله المري على "بيت الإطارات" والتصميم الداخلي له وكيفية اجراء العمليات التكتيكية من خلاله عن طريق الوحدات والفرق المشاركة.
كما اطلع سموه على برج الانزال والمعدات والعربات والمركبات الخاصة بالفرق التكتيكية، وكيفية توزيع الأهداف الخاصة بالرماية.
وشاركت دولة الامارات في التحدي من خلال 8 فرق ممثلة في القيادة العامة لشرطة دبي (A) و (B) والقيادة العامة لشرطة أبوظبي (A) و (B) والقيادة العامة لشرطة الشارقة، والقيادة العامة لشرطة رأس الخيمة والقيادة العامة لشرطة الفجيرة، وإدارة الشرة الاتحادية 71
.
وخلال فعالية التحدي قامت الفرق المشاركة بمواجهة بعضها البعض في إطار خمس فئات من المنافسة والتحديات للخبراء والمختصين من أعضاء الفرق التكتيكية والمسلحين، بهدف تشجيع تبادل الأساليب الفنية والخطط التكتيكية وتعزيز مستوى المهارات التكتيكية وزيادة التركيز الذهني والتحمل البدني للفرق التكتيكية العالمية حيث تتمثل الفئات الخمس للحدث في كل من المسابقة التكتيكية، ومسابقة الموانع ومسابقة إنقاذ ضابط، ومسابقة البرج ومسابقة الموانع.
وثمن سعادة اللواء عبد الله خليفة المري القائد العام لشرطة دبي زيارة سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ولي عهد دبي رئيس المجلس التنفيذي رئيس مجلس دبي الرياضي لزيارة ميدان الروية من اجل الاطلاع على كافة الجوانب المعلقة بالتحدي والحديث مع المشاركين، وتوجه بالشكر لكافة المشاركين في فعاليات التحدي.
وأكد سعادة اللواء عبد الله خليفة المري أن كافة العناصر الشرطية التي شاركت في فعاليات التحدي على مدار الأيام الماضية اكتسبت المزيد من الخبرات المتبادلة من بعضها، لافتا إلى أن كافة الفرق اطلعت على المزيد من الجوانب التكتيكية والفنية في هذا المجال، وتمنى مشاركة كافة الفرق العالمية في النسخة المقبلة من التحدي، من أجل الاطلاع على كل ما هو جديد في هذا الجانب مع زيادة في أعداد المشاركين من مختلف دول العالم.
