This was the final project that Robert McKimson did before he passed away in 1977. If he was alive today,he would've done more projects for DFE from 1978-1980,and then returned to Warner Brothers in the '80's.

What a great episode of Mr.Magoo and one that I never seen before but, I like the ones with his employee charlie in it because he puts charlie through a lot of heck. My favorite one is Blithering heights when he goes to the old abandon hotel with all the ghouls and charlie has had it with Mr.Magoo but, I do believe some time after that Charlie blew his stack!
Charlie did not appear in the 1970s Magoo shows...The stereotypical appearance for Charlie (yellow skin, buck teeth, pony tail queued hair, and old school silk clothing on US soil) wouldn't make it on network tv.
But Waldo mr Magoo nephew does look a bit like shaggy from scooby doo except he has no little goatee this was not bad was this like from the 1970's I'm from Australia thank u
Bob Ogle also was a regular story writer for DePatie Freleng and Hanna Barbera. Ogle died in 1984 while the second season of Shirt Tales where he performed Digger Mole's voice was broadcast on NBC.
What's New Mr. Magoo? Magoo in the Zoo [EP. 1] [English V.] 0527am 2.4.23 o that myopic fool... magoo must play on his well known short sightedness and really...must feign mistakes cos it centres attention on himself 24/7 - refer to old acquaintances and even many times removed pub goers who one feels: shhhesh; time for them to move on or get outta the way... p.s is that casy kasem doin a voice?
One twist here is that the first Mr. Magoo cartoon was actually written by a former communist (Millard Kaufman). He was never blacklisted, but he let Dalton Trumbo use him as a front when Trumbo wrote Gun Crazy.

Yes. The late Casey Kasem was Waldo.
Love this!
The dog's voice sounds like Digger of shirt-tails fame
That's because it was (Bob Ogle; also voiced Kwicky Koala opposite John Stephenson's Mildew Wolf clone)
Bob Ogle also was a regular story writer for DePatie Freleng and Hanna Barbera. Ogle died in 1984 while the second season of Shirt Tales where he performed Digger Mole's voice was broadcast on NBC.
Casey Kasem!
The first time the voice of Shaggy was intro"ed to TV...
SCOOBY-DOO, WHERE ARE YOU! premiered in 1969, WHAT'S NEW, MR MAGOO in 1977.
Kasem also in the cast of the 1969 Hot Wheels cartoons as the cheating car racer Dexter Carter and as burly good guy Tank.

Democrats would demand this show be banned today for being offensive to the blind.
Ka Boom Oh shut up. Everything isn't about partisan politics. Enjoy something, everything isn't a catastrophe.
