Tnx for the video. I didn't watched the hole video but i want to watch it and learn from it. But i need firstly to make the weldment frame before i can follow your tutorial of the simulation. Do have any tutorial where you are drawing the weldment frame or is there any file i can open?
hello.excellent tutorial. question: as i notice we must joint beams and solid bodies by using joint and contact set . so what's the duty of global contact?
Global contacts are automatically applied when you start an FEA study. It allows you to define all youcontacts you care about, while keeping the rest assumed as bonded. Without this youd have to state every contact (time consuming). Or you'd miss some and the model would fly apart in a classic solidworks fashion.
Thank you very much. Single best video on this topic on the internet !! 5 stars
Holy shit I can't believe SW has had submodelling for ages and Inventor Nastran does not...
Could you please share a file of a model used in the tutorial.
Thanks

Amazing how sloppy this is. So much that is not explained or is poorly done.
