    Thank you for your delivery walk through. When a door doesn’t close from the factory, most of the time, it is a lifetime issue unfortunately no matter which car brand it is (from experience). That was a good tip you got for closing the frunk. It’s great you’re at the 2k+ for subscribers. Hope for many more for you. I recently started my cooking channel. Hoping to get there somewhere. I’m also being asked to do posts on my car. I think I’ll add few of those too in the near future. Thanks again. Take good care.

      @@TheJeremyRedman Extended delay, apparently the VW is built and sitting in the US but still can't confirm delivery date. Reviews on the ID4 are not great, ride is superior but tech keeps crashing and I get frustrated dealing with the tech questions/ issues my wife has with her phone and computer... don't need to deal with her car complaints with the ID4. Held my nose and ordered the Model Y( don't care for Elon) but honesty Tesla has the tech side and charging stations etc figured out. Happy wife, happy life.

      Whoa!!! They fixed curb rash? Did it come with the curb rash when you got it? I’ve been trying SOOOO HARD to not curb rash the performance rims. So difficult Bc the wheel is so thin against the rim itself lol. And thanks!!!!

    • @RozeAbove
      @RozeAbove ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on when in 2022 your MYP was built... In 2022 they switched from the Intel Atom processor to the AMD Ryzen (HUGE upgrade as it's much faster for just about everything your screen can do), the passenger lumbar adjustability was removed in 2022, the door pocket flocking was added in 2022, the tail lights were improved drastically over the course of 2022, and they made about 23 suspension refinements during 2022... so a 2022 and 2023 can differ significantly.

    • @tmorcos21
      @tmorcos21 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @The Jeremy Redman right away,. The ride is much softer, as the tires are not stretched out and they offer much better rim protection, if you know what I mean. I love it. My kids call it the family sports car

    • @tmorcos21

      @The Jeremy Redman Also , it is very important. Please wrap your beautiful investment with ppf. The teslas are known for their soft paint, and especially with you having a black car, which is very beautiful but hard to keep clean. The addition of PPF and a ceramic coating will make the hand washing of your car a breeze. Never take it to a mechanical wash, as the with leave you with swirl marks. This will let you enjoy your beautiful car for many years to come

    Very captivating video. I'm debating which color Y I want. I'm leaning toward red, but a black one with dark black tints is intriguing. I drove a silver midnight metallic Y from Hertz a couple of weeks ago. I actually really loved that color. But, red just stands out. Don't see as many of them riding around.

    Great Video, some people who comment about the price and IMO minor issues upon delivery should consider how young Tesla is in the automotive market. Just think when Ford started and people still used the horse and buggy. I am sure if you lived then you'd see these Model T's broken down and pass them on your horse and say I told you so, but it's a matter of time before everyone had a Model T. I personally think a lot of these issues could be addressed before shipment but in America we have a lazy attitude and kick the can down the road to service for another day. Some point to quality of Mercedes, BMW and yes that's true but if you truly want to compare European quality to these built in America you'll never compete because those built overseas are from people who strive to deliver a quality made product before its delivered. Her in the good ole USA quality is not the main priority it's quantity for the masses at the cheapest, quickest way. I am impressed with Tesla and only see this product getting better and less expensive in time. Research the Super Manifold (8 way valve) and the technology to heat/cool the car and its generators/battery system. I believe this a technology similar to how they use in SpaceX for space travel. None of the big 3 are even close to this. Just my opinion and again thanks for the video, have fun.

    It's so amazing to me that despite the build quality, people still buy these in droves. It's a fashion accessory, as Apple has managed to do with brand. The Mercedes in the same class destroys this. Not intended to be hate, just a similar cult following to Steve Jobs. Reality distortion field concept. #Phonegate "You're holding it wrong" - Absolutely unacceptable for a mid 50-60k vehicle to have assembly issues to worry about. I think it's like the Jeep Wrangler phase, people are drawn to it to own one, then never buy another. Elon is a charismatic man, easy to get caught up in his sizzle, but the steak is undercooked. (The irony here, is that people that buy these, there are SO MANY on the road, its not unique anymore) - I personally think people are obsessed with the speed EVs offer and Telsa plays the game great. I personally would not want a vehicle to have to dock to charge and have to wait. Without more infrastructure to support for long distance trips. Its also worth mentioning that EVs cost more than their ICE counterparts in Consumer Reports. Something to think about. In the meantime Im excited for Toyotas hydrogen combustible engine. I think that is the real future.

    • @TheJeremyRedman
      @TheJeremyRedman  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sooooo true on soooo much of what you said. I don’t get it either. It’s purely the TECH side of it all. So I like the apple comparison. I’m an apple guy lol. Yeah maybe it’s a little founder driven, too. But you can’t ignore that Tesla is light years ahead with tech and supercharging networking so IF you want to go electric, kinda the only real viable option

    • @real_metagamerx
      @real_metagamerx ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheJeremyRedman I realized I didn't congratulate you on your purchase. Congrats. It is a very exciting vehicle with the tech involved. Also, it still commands attention from passengers that have never been in one. From owners, the speed gets them hooked and Telsa "has" been doing it way longer than the competition. The main takeaway here is the frustration for a car/suv in this class, price range - it's unacceptable to me to have to worry about build quality. Mainly, my biggest gripe is the profit margins Telsa makes on these, its 15x more than the competition and sad that they still have these issues in assembly.
