Removed a section in my camper where the entertainment area is and installed. Works great. Instead of propane furnace heat, I can use this th-cam.com/users/postUgkxATHBlMJwipGgVWseuAFKvDQ_5R4_lywo to heat the camper as long as it's hooked up to shore power. Only thing I do not like is there does not seem to be a thermostat. I'm presuming it has a built-in one so it does not overheat. Really like all the other color options it has to offer.

This was only such an informative, INDEPTH and useful video. Really really great! Best one tutorial I’ve seen and I’ve seen every single one. Easy and to the point! X
I haven’t watched all of it because I thought you was building it. It’s more of a show it than how to. Thanks anyway still subbed. It did give me some ideas for my DIY build
this wall fireplace looks GORGEOUS!!! It looks like a velvety texture on it and the added glitter is a plus! What is the specific color of the paint you chose?
Not sure what Sony model it is, but some don't actually have upward firing speakers despite being Dolby Atmos capable. The Atmos effect is created with digital processing wizardry. Complete rubbish if you ask me and I'd never buy one without physical upward firing speakers
Good job looks stunning, just finished for my daughter but im a painter by trade not a chippy so took me a bit longer 😂 one tip regards to priming as can keep cost down, matt emulsion what you based out after wood primer is perfect for bare wood as it's absorbent so no need for wood primer, it's really just to bring the splinters out in bare wood & then wet & dry for a really smooth finish 👍
I do wish you had shown how the unit is secured to the wall. Probably "renter" friendly and done with two small brackets and strapping attached at the top of the unit. Is that right? The side shelves could have "cubbies," which are shelf-sized baskets, placed on the bottom two shelves. They are used to train your child(ren) to use to put their toys/belongings in their cubbies each and every time they're done playing. I actually didn't do this with my children. I cleaned up after them. But my grown children do train their children that play time must include "clean up," which I put in quotes because they sing a song as they train their children to tidy, and they tell them how much the toys (using the dollies names/truck model name) appreciates being put away in her/their special place. As my family grows, I see older grandchildren training their younger siblings on how to sing the clean-up song and how toys love to be put away in their special cubby. (PS I do so hope this sounded like suggestions that you could use and not like criticism.)
Looks good i'd be looking at something similar, but one thing is you got a dolby atmos sound bar, but blocked in the sides and top of it so it can only fire the sound from the front, makes whatever side/top firing speakers it has in it a bit redundant
I’m building a media wall now but having it plastered , 1 thing I’ve picked up on , your sound bar is Dolby atmos ? That has up firing speakers and you have it flush in the wall ??? How’s that sound etc ? Thanks
Finally, a non DIY TV firewall build video. Because not everybody has the time or even the desire to build one for themselves. Great look, i Only wish you gave pricing information on the contractor for this particular build. But, thanks for the inspiration
There was no way we were attempting this ourselves, it would not have turned out well! We paid just £900 if that helps. It would've been less if we didn't add on the doors and built in storage :)
Hi Im planing to do something like you, its very cool ;) Please advice should I use mdf board or plaster board? Im worried that mdf board could bend after a while becouse of temperature coming from fireplace. Does it still looks ok with yours?
Hi very nice. I noticed you didn’t respond to listing the items used. I was was going to ask what size tv and fireplace you have as well as what fireplace
Very good guys, for showing an idea of design....be more amazing if you had built and developed it, allot of people out there are more than capable of doing this and do, would be a good tutorial for individuals if there was a a build process with Somone who is knows what there doing. Reference the bond line or intersection plastering to join the separate sections would mitigate this.
Hi Chelle! how many inches is the wall from the edge of the TV? I am recessing my TV in as well but wondering about your spacing? it looks great! I figure maybe about and inch and a half?
Hi, fantastic video. End result is amazing. Can you tell me where you placed your sky box. We are having something similar built shortly, would like the sky box hidden but obviously it needs to receive the remote control signal. Thanks in advance
Thank you so much, I'm so pleased with it. The box inside the side door, so basically inside the unit. It's a sky q box so the signal works through the wall. I'm not sure the signal works the same on a normal sky box. Hope that helps.
Hello.. I was wondering if you got an answer on that question Nigel.. I asked the same but just got told Gazco.. if you know the model and number can you forwarded it to me please.. thanks Beckie
l have just got this fire has l loved your so much any chance you can remember your over all measures from top to bottom has l can have some idea for the builder 👷♂️
I wish i had gone for the MDF approach! I had plaster board and then skimming done and have been trying to correct the mess the decorators caused me! 😰 that paint looks awesome! I will try using that to fix my mess lol xx
I was sceptical at first as most I'd seen had been plastered but I love the finish and hidden storage. Aww no that sounds like a nightmare, hope you get it sorted soon. The paint is incredible :)
Nice work. I’m currently working on a similar project and even had the same idea for the sound bar. I’m gonna install bookshelves on either side of the unit. Hopefully comes out nice.
Hiya just came across your page . Planning to do the same . Your media came out soo amazing ! Can i ask what is the depth of your media wall and length ? X
I'm in the process of completing my TV fireplace frame, the carpenter is worried that the paint might pile off since it's meant for walls and not mdf, how's is yours doing, still same?
Mine is honestly fine. I used a couple of coats of mdf primer first then the primer that comes with the paint. It looks no different today than when it was done 😊

Great build, looks very nice. I would add that if you have bought a Dolby atmos sound bar the up firing speakers would be hindered by the wall.
Same issue I had. Ended up modifying a Sanus Extendable mount for the Sonos Arc
GREAT IDEA! CONGRATULATIONS!

Loved this work one qestion were can I fine this digital fire place?

Only problem is the speakers on top of the soundbar is now covered as it is recessed in ...
Thank you, the one we got the sound comes out the front of the sounder rather than the top :)
looking amazing, what is the dimension gaps between the floor to the fire and fire to the tv please?
It turned out amazing. I really want to do this! May I ask approximately how much you paid the carpenter.
She paid £900 or $1239.78 US
I charge £850 😛haha

Hi,
I have just built my own using MDF.
Can I ask what did you use to fill the joins were the MDF meets. What type of filler?
Thanks
Ronseal 2 part filler is great to use
Looking to do this, how easy is it to attach new devices/top boxes to the tv in the future?
Super easy as there is a door opening at one side where I can access everything :)
Beautiful!! So about how much did you spent in everything?
Hi can you tell me where you purchased the fire from, got say looks fantastic.pete
Its actually in the video description
Where does the sky box sit
I have a Bose 700 would u know how much extra mm I would need on the left right and top of the sound bar ?
no idea sorry, I think it depends how the sound comes out. Ours has quite a big gap on top and the sound is great

Where did you put sky?
Looks lovely! Silly question but does the fire actually generate heat? Like an old electric fire would? Thanks
Looks great. And a good way to hide wires, cables. Is the fire electric or something else besides?
I love having no cables etc on show, yes it's electric
hi there,,did u say u sanded mdf yeah,,was it messy

What soundbar do you have ?
What type of wood was used for the studs (to make the frame for the mdf to go on)
Where is your cable box etc ?..Thanks
