I am currently saving for muvika, but after hearing that to maximize her use you have to use other natlan characters such as mulani or chaska. But I don't have those characters😅, even I am still hoping that she will be great team with non matlab characters

@@meemoo7 I don't think Chasca works very well with her, since both are on-fielders, you can use Kachina or pyro Traveler with Cinder city for now and try to get Xilonen on her rerun. I just hope Xilonen's rerun doesn't take as long as Kazuha's first rerun.
Xilonen was the only Natlan I didn't wanna skip, she's actually so based. She's super good as a dps and support while using pretty much the exact same artifacts, she works super well with Furina (since she heals) and she's just super well rounded. Easy to build, easy to use, super strong.
I think there were two issues: not enough interesting American/African/Oceanian culture for cool characters. And they already have tons of character archetypes covered otherwise. So they used Natlan as a crazy area. Annnnd I love Kinich 8bit style.

her kit is actually nice when considering characters that uses nightsoul energy, otherwise most of her kit buffs kind of gets wasted for characters out of natlan which is pretty disappointing

im really hoping they find a way to fix mavuika’s reliance on natlan characters because the whole thing seems EXTREMELY counter intuitive and stupid from a marketing standpoint. if she works with more teams, more people will pull her, and they’ll make more money. so it just sounds ridiculous that you’ll need to run her with natlan characters especially when you consider every archon can literally be played in like a thousand teams so it makes no sense from a business and gameplay perspective. thankfully these are just the betas so everything is subject to change and im really hoping they do change something. they could easily fix this by just having it so mavuika can give everyone nightsoul, and i dont really think thats a balancing issue because thats essentially what furina did with marachausse hunter and obsidian is only 4% more crit rate

Yea, natlan is pretty awful tbh. I'll give you some hope though. This is probably wrong when you consider Emilie and how she was released before and was speculated to pair really well with mavuika. I can't see them releasing a character that is specifically designed for Pyro teams with the Pyro archon coming out soon after and having her not working well with said character. Unless hoyo is just to far gone (very possible when you look at natlan as a whole) I kinda doubt she will be as bad as this makes her out to be.
@@jamrodgers121 nobody with a brain thought that furina would only work with fontaine characters. There were calcs being done on hu tao furina 2 months before furina's release lmao. Furina was one of THE most hyper (imo overhyped) characters in the game with everyone claiming she will be the best or one of the best options for most charas. U must be remembering some entirely different character since furinas hype was off the charts from ppl who were aware of the 80% dmg bonus buff. Anyways if u still dont get it, difference here is that hp increasing or decreasing is completely universal. U can use a healer from any region and get it once u knew that furina reduced ur hp. Unless there's something thats missed or the points required for mavuikas burst are really low, i do not see how this is not a pretty restrictive playstyle that either requires or heavily incentivises u to use natlan charas
Scales with Total Atk. Kinich and Emily + Burning Meta. 2 secs interval of applying Pyro won't be enough for Vape or Melt but is not a problem for Burning.
Its enough for vape...every 2 sec Pyro aura will refresh, and in the meanwhile time it will not go off... Plus attacks would also take time..like marking enemies with mulani

Her kit in a vacuum looks solid, but it does not fit her archon status. Archons are supposed to be general supports that have a broad suite of benefits that exemplify what their element is thematically good at. They are often the sum of all of the other characters of their element, but they can be outshined by the element's specialists. Having said this, why is Mauvika, on the other hand, designed to work with a very small set of teams with a handful of units where she is built to facilitate the most niche mechanic in the game? To me, that makes no sense. How much is Xiangling paying Hoyo to be the only generally useful off field pyro dps?
imo she is not the ARCHON. she is like ningg, Jean, yae miko, green bicep boy. neuvilette. planning to c6 her. but after seeing her kit, will hold my wish. (480+) to later date. or just c0 her. lol.

Way too many variables left. We won't know for sure until she is actually being released. It could very well be that her mechanics can only benefit from her + 2 other natlan characters making the 4th spot a flex character. In addition it could also be that the 3rd Natlan character doesn't benefit her that much anymore and it is instead better to choose a non Natlan character that has better damaging supporting capabilities.
imagine saying that reliable pyro off field application, team wide dmg buff and also personal damage is dehya 2.0 lol she seems more like a furina 2.0 but instead to max her out u need a natlan char instead of a team wide healer. That said i have mualani and she will probably become the best dps in the game after mavuika release, wich im happy and also frustrated about because she is just so inconsistent and a retry button machine

its not just that. People were assuming she was going to a bennet replacement or some kind of ATK buffer, at the very least an off-field support. But instead we get another Raiden, or a Dehya replacement, but worse since she mainly only works with Natlan characters, I can see this type of kit belonging to another random limited 5 star but the pyro archon? You know its a problem when instead of praising and hyping it up people just say it's "unique" or that her animations and motorcycle look cool, which is more of a gimmick for excitement than something genuine. tbh it's a major disappointment and I kind of regret even saving for her.

region locking an ARCHON is actually inane. i really hope she doesn't just work with natlan character bc that would be such a waste for most players. i hope they do smt similar to furnia, where she drains hp to enable marechaussee to be used on anyone. if she somehow gives everyone in the team nightsoul then code could be used in a similar way
I literally skipped pulling for Natlan characters to save for Mavuika. Now Mavuika is going to want natlan-heavy teams? That's just insulting. All archons have been basically universally useful and super versatile so far. I hope Mavuika will also get that level of flexibility as the beta progresses.

She really is a Dehya Pro Max...a little bit better than the original, but one thing to compare is the pyro attack every 2 seconds on both of their skills. ☺️ . I may have to get Mavuika's signature as well to put on Dehya, since again both units are one in the same regardless of popularity. 👍

All other Archons work GREAT with characters from all regions of Genshin, I was so hyped for this character, been saving since 5.0 . I skipped every Natlan character because I did not like design of any of them or gameplay. Now I have to get a whole team of them? Yes, I understand Hoyo needs to make money and this is a very good business strategy, but Archons should be sort of Universal, as in easy to be made use of in multiple teams, not Justa Natlan characters team. I can see now they will make theatre and Abyss so that you MUST have Natlan characters otherwise you are out of luck.

I will pull for her cuz she is an archon but in all honesty until we know her exact scaling she doesn't look that impressive kit wise. I hoped she would be a bennet replacement but i guess hoyo will never do that. Welp. These leaks confirmed I’m skipping Mavuika for Citlali. I’m not a big fan of Natlan’s Nightsoul, so being forced to play a team of mostly Natlan charcters is…meh. Only Natlan charcter I’ve enjoyed so far is Xilonen. I’m only really looking forward to 3 things: Arlecchino and Wriothesley reruns and a potential Harbinger release (Capitano/Columbina/etc). Love your content as always though!
If you play muavika as a support you aren't really missing much, just about 20%-25% dmg bonus. She has pyro app interruption res and 65% damage bonus. It's just that her dps mode likes natlan characters like kachina, xilonen, or citlali.
And Xianling still the best off field DPS.... It take 1s for Pyronado to do one rotation and 0.9s for Raiden E to do one coordinate attack. 2s is too long,unless she have big dmg scale to make up for it.
If she had a way to make her allies use nightsoul points in someway or capacity it would be even greater. She not only synargizes well with current natlan characters but surely future ones as well.
I am really disappointed, I thought shell be a 5 star version of bene boi or xiangling, I didn’t want here to be a dps as we already have so many pyro dps and not to mention arlechinno is just so strong already

I’m actually kinda glad I went all in on c2r1 xilonen. She’s quite possibly my favorite character in the game right now for making fun new teams to play with. Mavuika is going to be immensely powerful but I’m not quite sure how I feel about this kit…
@ I would recommend it for sure. Specially considering archons tend to have reruns that are somewhat predictable. C2 xilonen is literally the most fun I’ve had with any character in Genshin impact. I would definitely highly recommend it. Myself I think I’m going for c1 mavuika but it wouldn’t hurt to pick up an early mavuika even if you are saving for xilonen. Personally I wouldn’t go too far into pity though.
Ill be honest on the motorcycle thing on mavuika I dont like it and i cant seem to imagine how it will work with her Like im imagining raiden or arlecchino having a motorcycle Kinda off right? 😂 Theyre badass then u ride a motorcycle? Ik ik motorcycle fits on the category of being badass like "ghost rider" but i just cant see it much on mavuika (maybe a bit yeah) Im more into the actions shes done against capitano Pure flame, claymore and pyro attacks seem to be better animations and designs for her Imagine her being like a super saiyan with her flames Floating, attacking (somewhat like dehya burst but more badass) , flying, charging attacks, and whatever kit she has (what if like xilonen skill where she roller skates but on mavuika she on her flame mode floating like arlecchino charge attack with wings, imagine imaging how badass it is) Well ik my idea wont do much but its just my idea If ever they implement the motorcycle thing on her animations, im intrigued on how it will go and hoping it wont disappoint (i doubt theyll disappoint but you know im also somewhat hoping that they'll implement some of my ideas 😅) Edit: also i might agree more on the motorcycle being on her idle or burst animation, maybe But not in combat (same as chasca) On overworld cosmetics thatll be all right and agreeable even more

Now i have 302 pulls by the end of 5.1, and i'm also at 70 pity at both weapon and character banner which is a guaranteed limited character sonce i pulled jean last time. She as a dps isn't really that limited due to kachina existing, sucrose xinqiu and kachina is a damn good comp for her. Run full em kachina with xinqiu as your sustain and ttds on sucrose. (150-170 stacks is the average for these teams, if you have citlali you could replace xinqiu and kachina could be replaced by xilonen along with kazuha and sucrose) As a support if any team wants damage bonus she will be good 65% on non natlan team and 85% on natlan teams. pyro app, interruption res, good damage and no er requirement. @AlwaysThirstys I dont ever aim for cons and much less for weapons, if the character isnt all that at base kit i dont even bother. Besides, her multipliers are nice, she isnt bad, but she's not nearly as op as i thought. And i dont have gems to spare for a "good enough" unit outside of her niche

Oh that’s what they meant by she buffs natlan characters? I’ll definitely get her. I can still use her either way my archons and fake. Those buffs are just reducing how much night soul they use. Nothing else

im really hoping they find a way to fix mavuika’s reliance on natlan characters because the whole thing seems EXTREMELY counter intuitive and stupid from a marketing standpoint. if she works with more teams, more people will pull her, and they’ll make more money. so it just sounds ridiculous that you’ll need to run her with natlan characters especially when you consider every archon can literally be played in like a thousand teams so it makes no sense from a business and gameplay perspective.
thankfully these are just the betas so everything is subject to change and im really hoping they do change something. they could easily fix this by just having it so mavuika can give everyone nightsoul, and i dont really think thats a balancing issue because thats essentially what furina did with marachausse hunter and obsidian is only 4% more crit rate

Yea, natlan is pretty awful tbh. I'll give you some hope though. This is probably wrong when you consider Emilie and how she was released before and was speculated to pair really well with mavuika. I can't see them releasing a character that is specifically designed for Pyro teams with the Pyro archon coming out soon after and having her not working well with said character. Unless hoyo is just to far gone (very possible when you look at natlan as a whole) I kinda doubt she will be as bad as this makes her out to be.

Furina was one of THE most hyper (imo overhyped) characters in the game with everyone claiming she will be the best or one of the best options for most charas. U must be remembering some entirely different character since furinas hype was off the charts from ppl who were aware of the 80% dmg bonus buff. Anyways if u still dont get it, difference here is that hp increasing or decreasing is completely universal. U can use a healer from any region and get it once u knew that furina reduced ur hp. Unless there's something thats missed or the points required for mavuikas burst are really low, i do not see how this is not a pretty restrictive playstyle that either requires or heavily incentivises u to use natlan charas

Its enough for vape...every 2 sec Pyro aura will refresh, and in the meanwhile time it will not go off... Plus attacks would also take time..like marking enemies with mulani
Also consider ICDs, unles theyre like xinqiu or xiangling who skirts the problem

Her kit in a vacuum looks solid, but it does not fit her archon status. Archons are supposed to be general supports that have a broad suite of benefits that exemplify what their element is thematically good at. They are often the sum of all of the other characters of their element, but they can be outshined by the element's specialists. Having said this, why is Mauvika, on the other hand, designed to work with a very small set of teams with a handful of units where she is built to facilitate the most niche mechanic in the game? To me, that makes no sense.

It could very well be that her mechanics can only benefit from her + 2 other natlan characters making the 4th spot a flex character. In addition it could also be that the 3rd Natlan character doesn't benefit her that much anymore and it is instead better to choose a non Natlan character that has better damaging supporting capabilities.

its not just that. People were assuming she was going to a bennet replacement or some kind of ATK buffer, at the very least an off-field support. But instead we get another Raiden, or a Dehya replacement, but worse since she mainly only works with Natlan characters, I can see this type of kit belonging to another random limited 5 star but the pyro archon? You know its a problem when instead of praising and hyping it up people just say it's "unique" or that her animations and motorcycle look cool, which is more of a gimmick for excitement than something genuine. tbh it's a major disappointment and I kind of regret even saving for her.

This is comparable buffing to furina with a bit less personnal damage although still strong. Not only that but she can be a dps with extremely good numbers and damage, while being insane at exploration. Adding on if you get cons muavika is even better and her weapon is both versatile and amazing for her.

All other Archons work GREAT with characters from all regions of Genshin, I was so hyped for this character, been saving since 5.0 . I skipped every Natlan character because I did not like design of any of them or gameplay. Now I have to get a whole team of them? Yes, I understand Hoyo needs to make money and this is a very good business strategy, but Archons should be sort of Universal, as in easy to be made use of in multiple teams, not Justa Natlan characters team. I can see now they will make theatre and Abyss so that you MUST have Natlan characters otherwise you are out of luck.

Welp. These leaks confirmed I’m skipping Mavuika for Citlali. I’m not a big fan of Natlan’s Nightsoul, so being forced to play a team of mostly Natlan charcters is…meh. Only Natlan charcter I’ve enjoyed so far is Xilonen. I’m only really looking forward to 3 things: Arlecchino and Wriothesley reruns and a potential Harbinger release (Capitano/Columbina/etc). Love your content as always though!
If you play muavika as a support you aren't really missing much, just about 20%-25% dmg bonus. She has pyro app interruption res and 65% damage bonus. It's just that her dps mode likes natlan characters like kachina, xilonen, or citlali.
And Xianling still the best off field DPS.... It take 1s for Pyronado to do one rotation and 0.9s for Raiden E to do one coordinate attack. 2s is too long,unless she have big dmg scale to make up for it.
If she had a way to make her allies use nightsoul points in someway or capacity it would be even greater. She not only synargizes well with current natlan characters but surely future ones as well.
When I saw another video of Raiden on the same day I just jumped into this video ,I this gonna be more interesting ☺️☺️

I’m actually kinda glad I went all in on c2r1 xilonen. She’s quite possibly my favorite character in the game right now for making fun new teams to play with. Mavuika is going to be immensely powerful but I’m not quite sure how I feel about this kit…

@ I would recommend it for sure. Specially considering archons tend to have reruns that are somewhat predictable. C2 xilonen is literally the most fun I’ve had with any character in Genshin impact. I would definitely highly recommend it. Myself I think I’m going for c1 mavuika but it wouldn’t hurt to pick up an early mavuika even if you are saving for xilonen. Personally I wouldn’t go too far into pity though.

I dislike the Natlan-character-tied burst mechanic since I'm not a fan of the recent characters from Natlan except Xilonen.
Been saving for her since 5.0. I haven't pulled any 5 star natlan character. Now i have 302 pulls by the end of 5.1, and i'm also at 70 pity at both weapon and character banner which is a guaranteed limited character sonce i pulled jean last time. I am so ready to get at least c2r1 mavuika and turn her into a beast main dps

She as a dps isn't really that limited due to kachina existing, sucrose xinqiu and kachina is a damn good comp for her. Run full em kachina with xinqiu as your sustain and ttds on sucrose. (150-170 stacks is the average for these teams, if you have citlali you could replace xinqiu and kachina could be replaced by xilonen along with kazuha and sucrose)
As a support if any team wants damage bonus she will be good 65% on non natlan team and 85% on natlan teams. pyro app, interruption res, good damage and no er requirement.

@AlwaysThirstys I dont ever aim for cons and much less for weapons, if the character isnt all that at base kit i dont even bother. Besides, her multipliers are nice, she isnt bad, but she's not nearly as op as i thought. And i dont have gems to spare for a "good enough" unit outside of her niche

The only thing I’m turned off by is her reliance on Nathan characters. I have only one and it’s the one we got for free and I don’t even use her.

If she needs natlan characters to work is a skip for me tbh. Archonts are made to enable teams, not the other way

Bruh, shes fine for non natlan characters. As a support without natlan chars she will give about 25% from passive with natlan artifact set that's 65% dmg bonus + offeild damage and pyro ap. This is comparable buffing to furina with a bit less personnal damage although still strong. Not only that but she can be a dps with extremely good numbers and damage, while being insane at exploration. Adding on if you get cons muavika is even better and her weapon is both versatile and amazing for her.

If anybody tells you she is a bad character they are lying, she is comparable in support to furina while being a very strong dps.
Deyha applies pyro every 2.5s while amuavika does is every 2s without ICD. She also follows the character and has better AOE.
Oh that’s what they meant by she buffs natlan characters? I’ll definitely get her. I can still use her either way my archons and fake. Those buffs are just reducing how much night soul they use. Nothing else
To be honest I want to pull her just because of the character not meta.... But even her attacks are goofy with the bike.

I kinda need a dps as my Raiden isn’t cutting it rn. I don’t like how Mavuika seems to be restricted to Natlan characters to to work effectively. I have plenty of good supports already too.
Muviaka is very similar to raiden after hearing about her burst and e skill😊
Niceeeee i have a guarantee on getting her and i am on 60 pitty so only need to do 10-30 pulls to get her and use rest for her weapon and if i have some left after getting weapon I'll use it to try and get c1 or c2
