Thanks - it's always a fun reaction for Tasmashii, but I really enjoyed yours, and how much you're enjoying the band :) I'm happy you're commenting on the variety in the music and composition, and the talent of the band members too, as sometimes people can focus only on the fun and forget the talent.
Nice reaction guys David talked about Hana’s weird shape drums and I want to add more informations about that. This is a brand called North Drums and they were popular in the 70’s and 80’s. They are horn-shaped drums that were designed to project their sound outward, so the audience can hear the most direct qualities of the drum.
Also, I really would love that you react to one of my favorite Gacharic Spin’s performance live. The song is called “Broken Lover” and this was during their “gacha dancers” period, when they had dancers to hype the crowd. This live was around 2014 I think. The energy is unmatched th-cam.com/video/yVTp3SESzpY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zs-SKSDVbqFdzAkC
Not only has Hana got one of the coolest 1970s drum kits in the world - but this drum solo of her's from 2013 is well worth checking out - th-cam.com/video/-ZUCQuSlrZs/w-d-xo.html
I want to take a walk ".
Koga's bass in the toy version of Tamashii is considerably smaller than a normal bass! But she upgraded it by applying the pink spots like her real bass ;) I think it's not fair to overlook Oreo in "I want to take a walk"...
The bet with Tamashii was an easy one, that the hat wouldn't stay on David's head for too long. 😂 GS's energy is insane (even just through the videos) and I don't think we need to talk about talent either. With all the possibilities (they're utilizing), you could almost call GS a modern rock musical. :) ... There can only be one logical recommendation after this. The same song BUT in a very special version that you can find under the video title “おもちゃの楽器でガチでバンド演奏してみた” ... It is a mystery to me that these ladies are not much bigger after 15+ years. _____________________ ⟬ _"America invented rock. England improved it. To the mystery: I think I could guess some possible reasons. First of all: They don't seem to aim at it. How do you get big? Develop your style, stick to it, be consistent with it, hone everything to perfection, and have a close listen to where potential additional (!) audience might come from. Good example (in my mind): Scorpions wanted to be big, they did just that, and they got there. Or The Warning thus far. Gacharic Spin instead: Do a thousand different things, change your style and genre wildly and rock the boat with it (as proof: loads of disgruntled comments on youtube when they ditched the dancers, and loads of more disgruntled comments again when it became clear that they would go on to a quite different direction), be as eclectic as one can be, and don't pander to anyone or anything. Oh, and - just as an example - for an event like the 15th anniversary don't aim for a big show, but go to a small venue even by GS standards for purely nostalgic reasons ;) I like all of that, you obviously also do, but we seem to be a relatively small portion of the potential market, and it must be hell for the marketing people ;) You wrote one can see GS as a musical - I'd describe them as a real life Telenovela - it's all there: an overarching story, emotions, small stories, surprise turns, personalities, development, with the best soundtrack you could wish for :D Let's hope there will be many more "seasons"!
@ths_mk You are much better with words than I am and know how to wrap your (and my) thoughts in them. :) It's true, if there was one thing GS's past lacked a little - partly inevitably as well as deliberately - it was the recognizable red thread. As one of their promoters, you certainly will not get bored so quickly. 🤭 I also hope they will continue for a long time.

Magic umbrella girl.
