Wow!! Great video!!! Both canyons were beautiful, but I must say, an action video of you riding down the zip-line would really give it even more of an amazing view of it all.. lol😁

Wonderful video! Thank you! Planning a trip to Thunder Bay in October and will definitely check these places out.

I hope you get a chance to check it out!
If you do make it to Thunder Bay, I would also suggest checking out Mount McKay lookout, and Kakabeka Falls which is just a short drive west. I have videos of both of those as well if you want some more Info.
      Enjoy your travels!

Finally got to Ouimet Canyon last week. It was definitely worth the detour off the highway. We were on the road for 15 hours that day so we kept our other stops to a minimum to fit it in (only other stop was Aguasabon Falls). It was wonderful. It was a cooler day and the mosquitoes weren't awful. I only got a little bit of vertigo on the platforms so I was able to enjoy the views.

Hey, that's great! I'm happy to hear that you were able to fit it in on your way through. I hope you have some safe travels and enjoy the family trip.
      God bless!

We're hoping to drive through Northern Ontario this summer and we want to make Ouimet Canyon one of our stops. We're just passing through so Eagle Canyon sounds like it costs too much for just a short visit. And suspension bridges give me motion sickness. We routinely hike where there is a very low-to-the-ground one and I need to take Gravol before we go. It's not the height but the way it sways. I would still do these bridges if the cost of admission wasn't so high. (A family of 4 so $22 adds up).

Hello, thanks for commenting. Yes, I understand about the cost, it is a little expensive. But Ouimet Canyon is only $2, and it is beautiful.
Also, I would encourage you to check out Agausabon Falls in Terrace Bay, it is free and its right off the highway. As well as Kakabeca Falls, just west of Thunder Bay, it is also free and amazing! It's called the ""Niagara of the North" (I have another video posted on that one)
And I'm not sure which highway you plan to use, but the #17 highway (Trans Canada) along the north shore of Lake Superior is absolutely beautiful! The stretch between Sault St. Marie and Wawa is some of the most picturesque in all of Ontario.
I will be posting some more videos on Northern Ontario in the coming weeks.
      Enjoy your travels!!

@@bentroyoutdoors We do the drive to go out to see family which is why we can't stop very long. We have seen Agausabon Falls and Kakabeca. I personally liked Agausabon better though it is smaller. We haven't done Ouimet before because we thought it was too far out of the way but we're now realising it isn't as far as we thought. We're already on the road for 15 hours so everything is very planned out ahead of time. We're also wanting to see Niipigon and their Paddle to the Sea monument. Trying some new things this year. Staying overnight in Wawa which the kids love. Old Woman Bay is my favourite roadside stop. I wish we had more time in the area as I love hiking and there are so many trails I would like to try.

@@bentroyoutdoors I'm enjoying your blog style so I'm subscribing. Our family is in Southern Ontario so we're going to be getting a lot of "to-do" tips while there. God bless.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate the support!
Old Woman Bay is beautiful, and there is also a giant totem pole in the drive thru at the Tim Hortons in Nipigon that the children might like to see.
      Enjoy your travels!
God bless you and your family!
