shaku is kind of slow in the deck imo. I was trying him out since it was my first rogue legendary. Not a hearthstone vet like a lot of other people here, but I have played a few other ccg's. He normally just gets blown up by some bs. It may be worth having him to force a removal spell, but overall, deathrattles that summon another minion or give card advantage are better I think.
WarTrolleye He has 9 on board (Dagger included) + 8 from hand. Warrior has 7 health + 7 from taunt + 4 from hitting the taunt twice = 18. He could also hit the taunt once with the 5/6 but he would lose the 2 damage that he gained from not procing his Armorsmith twice because he attacked with a 5 attack minion instead of attacking it with 3 attack

Why doesn't Trump simply run 'draw card' mechanics instead of stealing cards like huckster? I figure that this deck wants to tempo hard or go home, and that the cards that are in his deck generally synergize better than random things from other classes? Huckster has a 2/2 body, but is that really that much better than a novice engi or loot hoarder? What did I miss?

Yep. The amount of damage done is based solely on the attack stat. The health of what's being damaged doesn't change it.
