I apologize for poor sound and not having a mic, but hopefully you can manage to hear OK.

Jackery says you cannot run different watt panels even if you balance the sides. Did you fry your station? Your warranty is at risk according to the Saga manual. That being said, I'd like to know if it worked because I'm tempted to try it with my 2x 200w Sagas and my 2x 100w 3rd party panels. Thanks.

My Jackery 1500 continues to work 100% fine, just as Jackery promised if I used their solar panels. If panels were out of spec for your Jackery power station, the power station would not accept a charge. This all being said, solar panels ALWAYS under perform their optimum rated performance standards. Good luck!

I came across these on the jackery website and have not seen any other review or advertising for these. I also came across a 2000 watt jackery?? they just released the 1500. Thanks for the review. Did you contact Jackey regarding the waterproofing of the panels the manual stating they should not get wet?

Conflicting info on waterproofing. I never asked Jackery, but I assume water resistant, but not water proof. Both 2000 and 1500 released in April 2021. I had both, but immediately returned 2000 before opening (can't return if buy through Amazon, heads-up...)

Unfortunately you have to keep an eye on the weather. I'm all over it as a beginner I constantly keep up on things and try all kinds of differr9combinations a of applications

I have one. I use it with a 100 watt solar panel also (300 watt capacity,) to charge my jackery 1000. The 2 give me about 110-120 watts to recharge it.

So the Jackery 1000 accepts up to 300 watts of solar input.
      Appreciate the info, Ed.

It will e cept it but have never been able to top 120 watts on my best day with 100% sunshine

I sometime use the 200 watt panel for my snugmax 350. It gives me about 80 watts on a good day

It's a good product. I wish they would make them water proof or water resistant

@@DadMoves Think the e1000 only inputs max of 163 watts.

The Jackery 1500 with 100w panels seem designed to work well with each other. I will upload new video showing 200w not as productive as 100w with Jackery 1500.

Was wondering if the jackery 2000 was more optimized for the 200w panels. I have the E2000 and was going to get these later.. looks like they won't stock them until next jackery day

Thanks for the detailed video! Do you know what type of output port that is on the solar panel? I couldn't see clearly in the video.

    • @DadMoves
      @DadMoves  ปีที่แล้ว

It's the standard Jackery output. I believe it is 8 mm.

@@DadMoves , thanks! My 200W SolarSaga panel has an output port on the solar panel that is oblong and has 2 pins inside. I haven't been able to find what kind of connector that takes and I need to get a replacement cable. It's frustrating that Jackery didn't use a standard connector for that end of the cable and that it's not specified in any of their documentation.

    • @JulianKeithLoren

I've been emailing with Jackery support for a week now and haven't gotten a straight answer on what kind of connector goes into the power output port. It's very frustrating that they didn't use a common connector. My best guess is that it's their own proprietary connector that's a modified version of an IEC-320-C8 female. The replacement cables aren't for sale from Jackery or any 3rd party. I'll update if I ever get a straight answer in hopes that nobody else ends up in this ridiculous time-wasting situation.

Today I finally got the replacement cable and can use my SolarSaga 200W again. It's been 13 days since I first contacted Jackery and during that time I communicated with 6 different members of their support team. What a ridiculous process for replacing a cable! Just want to confirm that the end that plugs into the solar panel uses a proprietary connector.

@JulianKeithLoren Glad it worked out in the end. Jackery customer service is very responsive, compared to other power station / solar companies. I've never had a problem reaching Jackery.
