I love the freedom you paint with. I have been exploring abstract techniques recently and love it. I’ve tried to learn to paint more realistically but end up wanting to scribble and throw paint. I suppose it comes from my desire to break free of constrictions. Your paintings make me want to shout with joy. They are beautiful and always inspire me. Thank you for your videos
Enjoy your holiday. I’m going through looking at all you videos so I will catch up while your gone. I enjoy them very much, and Thankyou for taking the time to do English versions too. 👍
Thank youuuuu ♥ And to adding the english parts is soooo much fun for myself because I learn and learn more and it is so cool to do it through this way of learning :) So I have to say thank you too ;) ♥
I keep staring at this painting, and I see in the swoopty-doo down in the middle a pathway between two mountians and the hint of a couple buildings...maybe a little village...top of a green tree to the right...big beautiful blue sky over top...I honestly like this a lot! And I know you said you were not going for a finished painting, only to experiment with a different tool, and that you were not sure you were satisfied with the results...but I think it looks very cool! Anyway, just wanted to say that...maybe you can imagine walking down the pathway too? Love watching you paint! : ) Love and Peace to you from the mountians of New York State!
Thank you ♥ Actually, I was coming to the studio and there was directly this work infront of my eyes and me too, I had a different point of view now and sayd to my son: Ups, now I think- not so bad :)... Sometimes, we need a little distance and to take a new look to it. But I still don't know, if I keep it now like this or if I do, what I planned for it ;) There are always so many possibilities ;)
Beautiful! I love watching your process from start to finish as I've watched all of your videos, Isabelle. I recently took a five day workshop and my instructor told us to use both hands and she requested that we turn our painting a quarter turn often. I am right handed and was amazed at what I was able to do with my left hand. I hope you continue to share your work! Happy painting!!!
Hello Karron. Thank you for watching. Sounds great, what you did there :) And yes, I continue uploading , don't worry about that ;) ♥ All the best for you and enjoy your creative time.
Thank you Marianne. This is a tool from screenprinting. I even did'nt knew the name. Someone here says that the name is "squeezee" or something like that ;) For me personaly, it feels a bit to hard, but I will give it a second try.
So fun to watch you work and wonder what you are thinking with each movement👍. I ordered your tutorials but haven’t downloaded them yet - I’d like to download on my computer and iPad - can I download twice or do I choose between computer and iPad? Thank you, and enjoy your holiday!
Hello. Thank you for your comment. So sad, that there was not already the chance for you, to watch the tutorials... Now I have to wait for your feedback about ;) ♥ I hope, that they are very useful for you. I think, that you can download it twice. That is what I understand in the helpcenter. Take a look here: help.gumroad.com/11162-getting-started/buying-on-gumroad?from_search=24946282 Keep in mind that these are large files. I don't know if they will work fine on mobile devices. But with your purchase, you have access to all updates that I do in the future! That is for shure. And I will try to upload further versions that can be watched on mobiles too. It is just a question of time. :) ♥
Hi Isabelle! I'm just wondering - did you make that tool or did you buy it?? I love it! I am left-handed but when I paint, I find that I can use both hands equally! Am going to start working on larger canvases and try out different tools - thank you for the inspiration.
Hello Heather. Thank you for your comment. No, I bought that tool already a longer time in the past. So "new" tool would better mean "new" for THIS kind of use ;) It is a tool from screenprinting. I worked with some years ago but now I was thinking to try it out for painting ;) If you search for screenprinting tools, you should find similar things :)
What a nice painting with new tools. I'd love to try those tools out myself. Do you supply these new tools and if so do you mail to Canada..I like to try and support my favorite artist no matter where they live. Love the turn out of your painting as always. Your creative strike amazes me to the end. Thank you again for the great video and taking the extra time to do it in English as well. Those of us that only speak English really, really, really appreciate the time extra mile you walk to do such a kind thing. Have loads of fun on your holiday and don't do anything I wouldn't do...and I would do a lot believe me...lol...cheers.
You're soooo sweet ♥ Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) But you have to send me a message. Did you already realised, that you are one of the winners of my Give away Video? Now it is a little bit to late, so that I only can send you your "price", when I will be back ♥ But don't forgett to let me know your shipping adress! :)
Hello again Isabelle, the new tool looked heavy and not so easy to get it to make the finner marks, but with practice maybe it might get easier, the blade looks really thick that would be a struggle for me. I find when I use larger brushes/tools I swap to my right hand, I'm left-handed, my theory is our favoured hand is so used to small'ish tools that a larger tool is too much for it and the learned patterns in our brains, even with decorating in the home I use my right hand, strange isn't it. Have a wonderful holiday hope you come back refreshed and full of inspiration x
Thank you Loupy-Lou.... Yes, I think that you are right. But for me it was additional a suprise, because I am not able to move my left arm completely free as others. I had an accident as a child and since that, I am not able to turn my wrist. This is completely stiff. So I do with my left arm a lot of things in a different way: For example typing... it looks a little bit strange in my case ;) But maybe even this is useful for something, also in painting- let's see. And I have to try this tool some more times..., with different colors too, with a different consistency. Normaly, it is used for screenprinting.
One thing I love is experimentation, so, I loved that you are trying something new, there was good movement in removing paint and creating various texture/markings, I'm of the mind that a person cannot just try using a new tool, paint, medium only one time to get an honest decision whether something will/won't work. It is a rather thick tool, it doesn't seem to have the thick/thin rubber that some paint shaper tools might have. It did seem to create some nice blending, I'll be interested to see if with more experimentation if there would be some use of this tool. Thanks for sharing..
Hello Karan. Thank you ♥ Like Gena said, this is a tool from screenprinting. I was hoping, that it is just a tiny bit more flexible... :( But I will give it a futher try, maybe with a different color quality. Everything is useful for something ;) - it is on us to bring the things together and to dicovering something new. I loooooove that. I found already so many things by accident...
Hey Gena. Yes, you're right. Did you ever used it, for something different than screenprinting? For me, for the moment, it does'nt feel flexible enough. But I will give it a further try ;)
No i haven't used it for anything else. Would love to try though. My brother owns a screenprinting company and i worked for him. He gave me his go to place to buy that tool, which by the way its called a squeegee.
Awesome! I´m not sure if the new tool is great or if you are a wonderful artist, I´m sure if you have a small stick or whatever you could create an extraordinary work! Send my best wishes for your holidays! Love you!
I have a tool simular to the one you have. But mine is speedball brand . I now have to get spray paint lol. You are making me spend money as I just purchased your tutorials ! Lol I have looked at the first one and it is awesome !!
Hey Tricia. Thank you very much for letting me know this... ♥♥♥ And YES, you neeeeeeeeed a lot of spraypaints :) :) :) I love them and there are so many things and ways to use them. For the beginning, it is enough to start with 2 favorite colours.
Funny intro. Very cheeky start. Love the painting style. Great that you do it in two languages. Danke!
Wow,, so beautiful !! I've been wanting to try using spray paints but never thought about using them with a screen printing 'squeegee' or Catalyst wedges. It's great that you can achieve such translucent layers OR use the spray in an opaque way. It also looks like an excellent way to 'loosen up' (something I need to work on in my paintings). Thanks so much for sharing this technique. Happy holidays :)
It seems the tool wasn't giving you bad results...there was a couple times when you could have stopped(there were breathtaking layer effects that ended up covered).I realize we all see different.Keep creating.
Hallo Susi.
Wonderful beautiful amazing 🍷🍷🍷🦋
Beautiful, I love it, it is absolutely gorgeous.

Hey Lori. Thank youuuuu :) Now I am already back at home and jumped into my work :) ♥

Thanks so much for positing your latest demonstration. What is the name of the new tool you were using?

Beautiful work, very inspiring.... but speed was little faster for me, I wanted to see how you use the new tool, painting is wow 👍

Love watching you paint, i am familiar with the new tool myself. Its a tool used in screenpainting for tshirts or hats or banners. 🖌📹🌞
Hey Gena. Yes, you're right. Did you ever used it, for something different than screenprinting? For me, for the moment, it does'nt feel flexible enough. But I will give it a further try ;)

😊 Thank you! I really would like to learn spanish to. But the only thing that I know to 100% for today is: „ola“ 😉
Hope to see more painting soon!

Danke u. lg
Love your work, but at the beginning it looked like mountain scene which I really liked. Thanks for sharing
