Thanks Rahdo, I wanted to learn how to play this and you explained it so well.
2:12 Small point, but the correct demonym for someone from Hong Kong is "Hong Konger", or the lesser used "Hong Kongese".
thanks for the heads up (double heads up really, since i'd never heard of the word demonym) :)
Rahdo you made me laugh 25:17
Thanks for the play through!
Wait a second... starving after 48h of blackout? :D
i complain that i'm starving if i miss a single meal :)
Now, that makes A LOT more sense. :D @@rahdo

La Stanza or Blackout: Hong Kong?
for us, BO:HK
@@rahdo Thanks Rahdo, that was my leaning as well.
poor red guy was sent to die xD
Red shirt
In before this game gets banned in China...hahaha
Please stop using this camera. I love your series. You are doing an incredible job explaining and introducing games with an nice feeling for whats fun and whats not. That is already outstanding quality content. You dont need this hectic camera. Its ruining your narrative flow, its more complicated to watch, its causing motion sickness and it disturbs the sight of the static cam too. a closeup shot of components as a video insert every minute would enrich the static stream without breaking the narrative flow. Thanks and greetings from Hamburg
Or you could just watch his static cam... th-cam.com/video/oTynTUCMAcw/w-d-xo.html
indeed... every game i've filmed for the last 7 years had a static cam option. just check the show notes
I Respectfully disagrees with a portion of this comment. I greatly prefer this camera over the static one.
You can tell who stopped reading halfway through and pointed you towards the static cam.
@@CeePhour yup, you're right, i didn't read the rest. so many times over the years i've seen the "could you please stop with the motion camera" posts, i just kind of answer on auto-pilot at this point (i've got a lot of messages to reply to every day!) :)
having now read the rest (thanks for pointing out my oversight), unfortunately what posi's asking for would basically cut my output significantly. the amount of editing that would be required to do that would mean i'd probably go down to something like SU&SD or watch it played, producing maybe 50-60 videos a year instead of the 200+ that i currently do. so basically, i'm a quantity over quality guy, and i've tried to set up my style of filming to maximize the amount of content i can create...
Game so ugly I would only play it in the dark...
The most ugly game of the year
i don't understand this, at all. it's no more or less ugly than pandemic, for instance
@@rahdo Who said that Pandemic is not ugly? ))) I love Pfister's games (GWT, Mombasa), but this game I will pass with no doubt - that's how ugly it is
@@demoninferno2960 ah well, art is subjective i reckon :)
@@rahdo I was actually taken aback by how plain this game looks (pandemic looks better imho) but mechanically this game is superb. Really keen on getting it.
Interesting how he goes from one of the best looking games (GWT) to this. I am, however, accepting that the board fits the theme of "blackout."
