Multi-disciplinary training is extremely valuable, from general fitness and conditioning to specific exercises (like footwork) and sparring all contribute to a well rounded HEMAist
Brilliant advice.
This is very good advice, especially for those who are just getting started, well put and well done 👍
Thanks!
Agree with all of these! I've neglected my footwork training a little bit, gotta get back on it.
Well said.
#3 is so important. This is really how the feedback loop starts - you are your own worst critic 😅
True!
Federico have you tried Mike Tyson push ups....you won t regret it . Also I have been regularly using ball maces for years..very recommended.
I am now following a structured barbell training system followed by a professional, so I’ll stick to it ;-)
*me watching this from the toilet seat: "I'm already doing great 👍"
Indeed, you are! XD
And then there is psychological training. And who is not into mindfullness, meditation, introspection and visualization, should at least care for good sleep and rest!
How is your progress on major three?
I suppose you are more focused on a strenght progress than on a physique imrovements.
Yes, I’m also working on the overhead press, other that bench, squat and deadlift. Working over strength mainly. It’s going pretty well! I’m now focusing a bit on form on deadlift, while pushing forward with new PRs the others. I’ll maybe make a video at some point about my workout and PRs
