Why Jesus Hated Hypocrisy

Far too often we talk a good talk but walk such a poor walk in matters of faith. That is hypocrisy, and it sets us up as enemies of God. For Jesus, talk was cheap. He wanted to see righteous talk convert into righteous action. And even more than that, he wanted to see righteous action flow from a righteous heart. But until our hearts are redeemed by Christ, hypocrisy will always be our story.
