Reminds me of when I used to work as a grocery store janitor. The music turned off at exactly 11pm every night, but that is why I had my headphones. Tinny music coming over an empty grocery store, while you clean the floors all alone. I can say that by the time you are finished, at about 1am, your mind can easily start playing tricks on you. You can see things out of the corner of your eye, like shadow creatures rapidly scurrying into the next isle, only for there to be nothing when you check. This is only compounded by when the lead janitor tells you about the time he found a crackhead curled up under one of the office desks. Your job is not only to clean, but also to make sure that the entire place is secure. Then when the electricity malfunctions, you just have to deal with the flashing lights, beeping fax machines, and pitch black parts of the warehouse. It's one of the most surreal, yet mundane experiences you will ever have. I even have video of one of the blackouts. It's probably on my computer somewhere, if I cared to look.

I whimper pathetically before the tears freely flow from my eyes. After a minute of crying, I take a deep breath and stem it. Maybe I should sing the song, it would distract me for a bit. "California girls, we're unforgettable. Daisy du- ggkhh- hhhghh- gghhgghhhh-" I begin singing, before suddenly choking on my own blood. I look downing, and see a black spike through my chest. I touch the spike weakly as it pulls out of my bloodstained chest. I feel blood rush into my lungs as I collapse. I attempt to reach up but my arm refuses to lift itself. I lie uselessly on the cold floor tiles, and feel my consciousness slipping. My final thoughts before everything goes black, is of home.
I love the feeling of being hidden in what would be a public place. It gives you that human need for socialisation without actually being around anyone, used to hide underneath stairwells and stuff it was always the best

My schools have automatic lights and really long halls so your section will be on and the hall gets slowly darker and darker until the only thing you can see at the end is single small dim flickering light from those weird boxes on the roof

This is relatable. In my high school, there are speakers in the halls and the principal sometimes plays music during breaks, When it's very late and most people have finished classes and you're just alone with only your classmates this is relatable.
Holy hell this brought me back to my 1st grade graduation party my teacher had for us in summer 2010 to celebrate us graduating from 1st grade to 2nd grade
