Everyone processes traumatic events in many different ways. Some scream uncontrollably, some break down and sob, some have a block that goes up for the trauma, survival/rescue mode kicks in. For me everything slows way the hell down and I'm calm about everything until the next day. The next day I'll cry all damn day.
I am usually calm during traumatic events until the aftermath; then, I fall apart. However, I don’t know what I would do if I had discovered my mother, dead, especially after having been brutally murdered. 😢
Same. I go into active mode. Screaming and crying isn’t going to help anything. But, once it’s all over and a doctor pronounces the death, I’d lose all of my adrenaline and cry until I couldn’t cry anymore.
I'm pretty reserved and don't show my emotions in an aggressive way so I'd probably act the same way on a 911 call. Than again I've never experienced something that traumatic so who knows how I'd be in that situation?

THAT'S the saddest thing? I guarantee she had a script, lost it and then turned to buying pills off the street and then finally, dope. Same old story. Not really surprising at all. @@anlace3447 well they can't really help it when they get prescribed a highly addictive drug, get addicted to it and then eventually get cut off from it.
This guy is just- without any self control. I mean the smallest incentive can get him to do whatever. He just does whatever is available and mildly appealing moment to moment. It’s pathetic how he murdered the women he knew when that wasn’t too difficult to achieve and then spent their money but then turned around and confessed to doing that for a cigarette. He’s lucky he managed to even stay alive even though he’s stuck in jail for the rest of his life. That’s where he needs to be and I’m sure he’s miserable.
He is probs hustling and taking his drugs, smoking his baccy and ok with being an addict in jail. IHe doesn't seem to have the emotions to care about being jailed.
He's no more miserable than he was on the outside. Probably significantly less so, actually. Homeless, knowing you can't eat because that last $20 you stole has to buy you enough dope to keep the withdrawals at bay for another few hours. He was ready to go to prison because he's not strong enough to change his life on his own and going to prison will force a change.
Being real. Prison is a good fit for his instinctive personality. Not referring to he should be in prison for what he did , cause that's obvious) but for who he is in society. I've been to prison and I won't ever go back cause it didn't fit me and what i could sustain for a lifetime or many years but some people are wired to actually just be better fit and a more structured system for them
Years of getting his will crushed by drugs. Drug addicts crave instant gratification and pleasure, if he wants a burger, a cigarette or some dope now he will do anything to get that regardless of consequences. That's why many lose their minds and kill or steal to get what they want, they don't care about consequences or anything else other than their instant gratification.
Just goes to show that judging guilt via 911 calls is usually completely useless, same goes for many interrogations. There are so many cases where half the views would say the person sounds guilty af without knowing they were completely innocent.
The son WAS NOT calm during the 911 call. He was holding himself together/ panicking at what he was looking at. His mind was moving faster than his emotions could process. He probably broke down some time later once being ablr to sit down and process. But you can still hear hus voice quivering in a certain way that screams "wtf is happening omg is this real". I could've been in his position VERY easily. Luckily it didn't take jail or death for me to turn my life around. I live an extremely healthy lifestyle now and somewhat got my life back. At certain times you would do anything for the next fix, your morals go out the window because of the fear of being THAT sick again. Society needs to take a long look at addiction and work on ways to combat it, it really is the worst epidemic to hit America.
From what I've noticed, it's very hard for those who haven't experienced it to grasp it and they'll be indifferent or even mean about it. Maybe some do, but most don't seem to get it. Easiest explanation I've found is it's like the flu and when we have the flu, there's that common saying like, "I'd give anything for this to be over" but unlike the flu, there is something you can easily buy for drug withdrawals. Alot of people appear to think addiction is only mental and that people could stop any time. They disregard the way our bodies adapt to anything and it feels pretty rough after it's acclimated to deal with some crap you're adding to it then it's suddenly gone, at some points reaching 'the worst flu you've ever had' levels.
The part that just gets me is that the sun who is in distress because he just found his mother murder has to track down her credit card statement instead of like the police investigating that that's weird, you would think that's their job and it definitely should have been done by then Bravo for him but I can't believe how stupid police are sometimes seriously
People like this are more frightening than the calculated killers. Not only are they not afraid of confessing, they literally don't care about anyone or anything. It's like it's fun for them.

You joke and be jovial about everything because anything else is facing up to just how awful you have let your life become. My family thought I didn't care about them but that wasn't true at all, I was drowning in guilt and trauma and a million other things that all led to continuation of using as it was too hard to break the cycle. It made me laugh when the detective has trouble procuring a cigarette....30 years ago, I could have asked anyone...now, the only person that I know who smokes lives in Toronto. I remember people smoking in the grocery store/in an elevator/in the hospital !! Now, even when the prize is a full confession to horrible murders, we need a way to deal with the smoke !! The world is a better place.
Smoking is one of life's simple pleasures enjoyed by people who can exercise self-control. Cigarettes have anti-estrogen properties, thus making it masculine (women shouldn't smoke much, if at all). That's why it's being phased out. The world is a girlier place, not better.
@@mudchair16 if smokers could control the disgusting stench of their cigarettes (not to mention the litter of butter and packaging), no one would mind. Sadly, it took governmental controls to force smokers to cease from inflicting their noxious "pleasure" on everyone else. In the early 90s, it was impossible to enjoy a meal in a restaurant without being subjected to cigarette smoke. "Non-smoking" areas were a joke, and [some] smokers were so entitled that they ignored even THOSE small inconveniences. Before I get attacked, I should mention that I was a smoker for almost 20 years, and became annoyed with the stupid comments of non-smoking "zealots" while I enjoyed my smokes in taverns etc. Although I never lit up while sitting (walking, driving, etc) with people who did not smoke, I would fiercely defend my rights within areas designated for smokers (at that time; anywhere public). Well, beyond keeping them warm in a cold room (which as I'm sure you know in many cases is intentional; detectives do a lot of things to make suspects uncomfortable or just to throw them off) they likely use wrapping up in a blanket as a self-soothing ritual. It's often the last feeling they might have of being cozy, feeling "home," being hugged (as mentioned above) and feeling safe. I'm sure I'm being captain obvious here but that's just my interpretation. But psychopaths, they are already cold. They don't need a blanket.
This happened in my area where I live and I went to school with the Nephew of one of the victims. Crazy how the world is. That area is full of addicts and zombies but the neighborhood is nice and was safe in the 80s/90s. Shit is crazy
It's like a crack at asking for a hit of crack before confession I can't count how many times I was willing to ask a stranger for a smoke because I was convinced I needed one and only once in so many times is it actually a relief and as soon as cigarette is less than half gone the guy is going to realize how poor his impulse control is which is probably what got him there
I really wish people like this who are just done with life and the world took themselves out without feeling the need to take some innocent's life. It angers me that people like this can go through life and become adults with barely any repercussions and yet others who do everything right, have their lives cut short.
As a recovering heroin addict, I can say this guy has DEFINITELY used that day, unlike what he said earlier. He'd be crawling out of his skin by the time they even got him to the interrogation room. Arresting and processing someone is not a quick process. If this guy is a daily user, he'd be sick the moment he wakes up in the morning, and using is the first thing he'd do.
@@coryhiggins7515 Who knows. Maybe because the police are more likely to hospitilize him for his withdrawal if they think he's already in it, and then he doesn't have to suffer actual withdrawals? I hate when people try to use drug addiction as a mitigation factor. I was a heroin addict for 11 years of my life before getting clean. I now have been clean since 2000. I NEVER would have committed a crime like this. I'm not gonna lie, I stole to support my habit to keep from being dope sick. But when I was dope sick, I went without and suffered for it. I never, ever even considered taking someone's life for money, for anything for that matter. Drug addiction is no excuse. And either is an unstable childhood. I was raped, yes RAPED, at age 8....hence why I became an addict, to drown out the traumatic and nauseating memories of that rape. But still, after going through that, I never became a monster. I hate these excuses. They are pathetic and a weak attempt to escape responsibility and culpability for your crime. Shame on those who try to play victim. By the way, I am a social worker and behavioral health technician now, have been since 2006. I completely turned my life around after prison and never looked back. Not all addicts are evil. Some are actually good people who are hiding from trauma. This guy though....he has issues even without the drugs. The drugs are just one symptom of his problems.
The son reminds me a lot of how I reacted after finding my dad dead from su*cide. I was in complete shock and denial and refused to let myself believe it was my dad until the moment came that they were taking his body away. After that, I had a mental break down that sent me to the emergency room. I'm extremely glad that the police did their due diligence on this case because everyone absolutely handles shock and stress differently. Depending on upbringing, mental health issues, medications, etc. we can only really know if someone's acting off if we know how they normally act first (their base line).

@@Centermass762 Was just going to say he same thing he's the type who would be perfectly at home in prison
It's crazy how some things can be taken differently, that 911 call in the eye of police officers would sound strange but he obviously was in shock.
Just goes to show that judging guilt via 911 calls is usually completely useless, same goes for many interrogations. There are so many cases where half the views would say the person sounds guilty af without knowing they were completely innocent.
Came out later that the son was in on it. He is now in prison
The son WAS NOT calm during the 911 call. He was holding himself together/ panicking at what he was looking at. His mind was moving faster than his emotions could process.

It was Judy's body they didn't find upon first entering the home the guy was staying in, she was stuffed in a chest in the bedroom. Though idk how, seeing as she had been in there for 3 months and it probably smelt rank af
It's so easy and wrong to blame drugs for shit like this.
@@verbalswagrawkey1932 true i know enough people who dpne everything yet never harmed anypne this guy is just a evil junky
What a great testimony!! And yes a good reminder that not all addicts are willing to murder. No excuses.
This should be altered into a Klondike commercial
I'm less than a minute in and I'm EXTREMELY impressed with the son. Given the situation I would be FLIPPING THE F*CK OUT
The son reminds me a lot of how I reacted after finding my dad dead from su*cide.
Your channel is so big now even the cops have your channel's logo on their door!
I was thinking the same exact thing! 😂😂😂
Dude wants to confess to murder and they're worried about cigarette smoke...SMH
I love the way you guys place the logo on doors and whiteboards etc. Creative :-)
is he holding that pen like a giant crayon lol
ok i haven't watched the vid yet, but this is why i'm quitting smoking. because it's such a silly habit but you'd still do ANYTHING for one if you're jonesing lol
Ikr....seriously one of the hardest drugs to quit.
I don't know, Jeff didn't give up and he was rattling just as bad as this cunt... I suppose it helps if you're actually innocent though
RTC stood in the gap when JCS took a break and these videos are every bit as good and precise as JCS. I appreciate the hardwork.
I definitely thought this was a son who killed his mother story. I mean 100% thought thats where this was headed. Now I will second guess myself if I think someone did it because of the 911 call.
Even if you don't smoke, as an interviewing detective maybe you should always have cigarettes available? So many people ask for one, and it can really make the difference in a confession. Just have a pack in your desk/car/whatever for when this situation inevitably comes up.
Thank You for your videos Hope you get better soon
Wow 😯 He’s just Ruthless !! ………..and why people don’t want to get involved in others people’s affairs,Sad 😢
I will never understand why people like to become investigators. If you have a suspicion… call the police! You don’t confront the person you believe is hiding or lying about something! If they did what you think or believe they did… why wouldn’t they do it to you??? If she thought he was lying about the lady’s whereabouts, she should have called the police! But Because she didn’t call the police and chose to confront him… she paid with her life. So sad and unfortunate. 😢
If I was that detective I’d definitely spit in his food.
@W L M not if he didn't know 😉
“Ofc we’re empty we have our buddy working on it “ makes me wonder how many people agree to confession for a cigarette 😂
More realistic (and less funny) scenario is that they aren't allowed to have cigarettes inside, so they just don't have any. That's how it was at every facility I've heard relevant details about, mainly from family that worked at them.
Damn This happened 30-45 mins from my house, Crazy ass world man. I watch a lot of these (interrogation) type videos, and this is the 2nd one I seen that was in close distance to my house. Time to beef up defensive & offensive home security even more, and I pray I never have to use it. Be cool y’all 😎
Stay safe ! Shits wild ✨
Sup Chris, one of your youtube subs... Love the man in van story, those things sound like bees flyin by your ears.. lol.. Im from the same area, and its def time to beef up security. The whole area is fallin apart
I’m a local too! What’s the other video from Baltimore? I’d love to see it
@@amberthompson3912 Whats local?
@@jeffreygeorge219 Hey man, Your right, that area is sh*t now. I live in the county now, I have two little girls to think about. Thanks for your support.
For a cigarette. I totally get that
They should've got him to confess to something else for a lighter lol
This is what drugs do to you, turn you into a cold hearted killer
