@jbaker88 I'm glad you enjoyed it! E-Sassin is a gravely overlooked producer, IMO. He really knows how to crank out the dark, grimy tunes -- and keep the production where it should be! None of this over-produced Pendulum garbage. This is real shit right here :)
It's pretty rare because it isn't even listed on TH-cam. Also, I didn't learn until recently that The Best of SoundSphere is also on vinyl without looking online. The only reason I know about and own this CD is because I saw it whilst browsing my local used music shop. It's been one of the best finds ever.
when i heard this first time...i got got goose bumps turned this shit up and rocked this shit at least five more times couldnt get enough...thanks for posting
@TheReapersSon: Agreed and its awsome to hear classics like this too. Love the drop to this sound too just so agressive. Lol, and I take it everyone still hates the Pendulum sellouts?
This is drum and bass. It leans towards a darker shade of sound within the genre. E-Sassin is one of the most talented producers making this kind of music. You can find his channel on TH-cam; Just search for Soundsphere Records.

Funny to read 'over-produced' in a comment 14 years old... I guess the pendulum hasn't swung in the right direction since (pun intended!).
1st dnb tune that I ever heard and LOVED!

I am the NIGHT rider!!!!
Thanks for the information.
Whoa! Dark and doomy! This guy should collaborate with Marc Acardipane. The beats would be insanely
sinister.
DnB? This is Dark Jungle my friend, came out back in the mid 1990s during the hardcore techno scene's peak.
@Projectb15
This is true
Definitely has the Jungle approach to it, but like you said, dark as... "night". :)

@@TheReapersSon sweet
E-sassin didn't make this tune. Nightrider did. The tune is actually "Nightrider - Nightrider" on SSR002
Nightrider is Eric Hull AKA E-Sassin 😉
Anyone remember Webagent 007?
