Nah bro, Phonk is rlly old, being created up to 30 years ago. It used to be called Memphis rap, and it rlly used to be an underground genre. Usually, when we think of phonk, we think of SoundCloud, but ofc, there wasn't any SoundCloud 30 years ago. Phonk consists of jingle bells, and cowbell melodies.
Edit: it's also not EDM I'm pretty sure.
