AI Dino's is what I am looking forward to the most - as someone who runs a community server, we do our very best to encourage our players to go explore outside of GP and IC, but you know how it goes, they won't if that's where all the players are. Having wandering AI Dino's that can either attack you or run from you will bring huge life to servers both community and official. Sure, the AI may not play as well as real players in a fight, but if they still pack a punch ( looking at you Dynamosuchus ), then I think its great to have players questioning whether its AI or not.
As someone who plays solo, it is so hard to hunt other plays or play as carnos as all the players go to IC. Which to me is extremely boring. I want AI because even gondwa has some very interesting biomes like the hot springs, the birch Forest, even the salt flats I actually enjoy the far east side eof the map. But nobody goes there.

I'm anticipating Micro being released alongside the new foliage, considering how much they go hand-in-hand with each other. If not, then I could see two options. Either post-foliage to refine climbing for its release, or pre-foliage, postponing its climbing ability and relying on its other abilities and stats for survival in the interim. I can easily see it having plenty of speed and agility and being able to double-jump alongside a high base jump, maybe even a triple-jump, plus there are a lot of high places already for it to be able to glide from. Not to mention that it's said to be the smallest playable dino in the [vanilla] game, so it'll easily be able to hide.
@@benmarsh2175 That's what it says on the wiki, smallest playable creature and essentially limited to hunting small ai critters and scavenging. No doubt it will be another support class dino.

The biggest thing I'm wanting is the quest overhaul. Officials with actually good quests and mark yields would make the game immediately more playable to me.
We folks tried to work out a new gameplay style due to people simply hawking around in the Crater and leaving the rest of the map lifeless. Its called 'Region Specific Species ' in which you grow your creature anywhere on the map , choose a particular skin subset and start nesting. Then you have more offsprings and ask them to have the same skin subset. Thus you have now your own species in a particular region like real creatures. We can thus form player oriented breeding grounds and decide upon migration patterns.
I love this idea and have suggested 'biome specific species' for 'growth boosts' in 3 specific biomes per each Dino to add for variation on where you'll find types of offensive carnivores. When the species stays in its disigned for biomes, you get your growth boost in party near lead. No boost outside of your species biomes, as you're working against the elements. (Ie: fattier dinos in cooler climes)
I always see people ask for new dinos or TLC’s but ngl I’m always more hyped for the gameplay and visuals updates over the dinos. I remember finding the game pretty boring when I first bought it (less than a year ago I think) but all the recent updates made it so much more fun and immersive for me ! I can’t wait for them to raise the max number of players per server to 200, hopefully it will encourage people to disperse all over the map instead of staying at Impact Crater. I also really like the idea of a feature that allows dinos to pick up their babies :O I’d love to see more ways for players to interact with each other !
@ I stopped playing in official a while ago 😭, people in there are so annoying and the fact there’s no passive growth makes it unplayable for me. Now I mostly play in realism server and sometimes in random popular servers. But, realism servers aside, everyone still goes to Impact crater in community servers :/
AI Dinosaurs The Survivals mode atm feels really strange atm because, the addition of AI critters and Nesting but lack of AI dinos is strange. You can feel the 'hole' AI Dinos are supposed to fill. PvE is another matter cause everyone just sits at big rock
What I really do want to see is the babies getting carried away when their parents pick and carry them like say a predator is nearby instead of fighting or just fleeing and leaving your young as a sacrificial lamb you can carry them and then flee😊
fixing the lack of dinos on the rest of the map and make the map more alive is so simple, just split the map to 5 - 7 ereas make specific areas for specific types of dinos where they can get boosted growth when questing in their dinos type ereas and if they leave these ereas they grow normally without the boost.
Hear me out, for the AI questgiver we have one more consistent in every biome than the most, a baby ano named pancake. The baby travels everywhere and pops uo with a quest like a with the consistency of a courier from skyrim. Then the baby ano grows over time into king pancake and he then challenges us to a duel
As another quest idea and a slight solution to the players sticking to one or two areas- migration quests. Ik there are destination quests, but migration quests could be sent to all of a specific creature of dino at the same time. And the weather can correlate with it. Like some creature would prefer to have their young during rainy season or hot season or whatever, and when said season comes around- all players playing a specific creature with that breeding season would get that quest. Or maybe for food, for mates, etc. For me, a huge problem in the game is the repetitiveness. I get excited about an update or a new creature, play it for a bit and then get extremely bored bc it’s always the same thing. I think migratory quests would be a great solution to all of that. AND I would like some to actually stay on the ground, an area on the map with permanent snow, and that when you seek shelter from the weather that you actually stay dry. For feathered creatures it would be helpful to stay dry for example.
dont you think that if they add grab for a baby that it should use little to no stamina unless the baby is trying to wiggle free what are your thoughts
As far as TLC goes I think what really needs a TLC is the questing and growth system. Trust me, I understand the grinding and running around different areas completing quests feels rewarding but it can also push away a lot of new players that don’t have a set routine of places to go to quest and where to find the stuff. Like possibly a single quest could give a minute of growth? Instead of only just 30 seconds. I just feel it’s needs some type of justification in a sense.
Playing with ai will actually make this game so fun for me, im tired of everyone all in crater, toxic players that will T-bag after killing you, and ill be able to play any dino considering almost everyone plays either the smallest raptors or the largest apex's
As a former 1500 hour Isle player, I'm VERY proud of how far PoT has come. When I first looked into PoT, there wasn't much to do, there wasn't even dino growth in, but I did appreciate the potential and returned occasionally with updates, staying longer and longer with each one... The further and further away Evrima gets to the game I loved, the closer and closer the PoT devs deliver on their original promises and more. The dinosaur design, mechanics, emphasis on a FUN game rather than a punishing one - and now that nesting is here? It's grown so much into its own thing. It's exciting.
That would also create a solid way of being immersed as a carni who has the “kill herbivore” quest to just wander around and find a herbivore AI pack just wandering
I think i would also like a story mode where you choose your own dino and you have your parents that you can talk to and if your a raptor your own pack and make your own story and stuff it could also only be ai dions so single player.
I'm going to disagree with you on the first one. I do not think that all dinosaurs need to carry their babies. How are you going to have an Ano carry another Ano? Or an Amarg, EO, Bars, or Struthy How is a duck going to carry another duck? They're already freaking huge! The only way I could see this working is if you could pick them up just as a Hatchling.. which I don't think lasts too long. I don't know for sure. I've only ever been one inside of the starter cave since I already have all the adult dinos.. But that's just my opinion.
Imagine a laten attacks you in a 200 player server and u start to chase them they run into a place that full of dinosaur and u can’t even find that annoying laten
hopefully holding smaller dinos isn’t implemented for all dinos that would make combat between them a joke, probably comparable to some of the goofy decisions the isle has made
I haven’t played the game in about 3-4 months now and I’m ngl this video and comments (aside from the addition of nesting) are the same as around the time I was still playing😂 I do plan on getting a tablet for the mobile version cause I’m ngl I do miss the game a lil
A feature to prevent 'biome camping' may be useful.. or, debuffs to certain dinos within certain biomes.. Amargh getting a speed boost in steggo, but a turn debuff, for 'close/ tight walls'.. as an example; with the same applied to Rex, as it's counter, but inverse. Faster turn rate, slower run speed.. due to heat exhaustion. Or, Alternatively; Make it 'near area based' buffing and debuffing; due to closest terrain. Larger dinos nearer walls should turn slower, as they wouldn't want to be 'clipping' the walls. An Eo in a tight valley that gets jumped shouldn't be able to turn as quickly as it does in open terrain. A rex/pycno/dasp should be able to run up hills, or get a top speed increase whilst running down them, due to size of creature, weight transfer, and velocity.
They need to do something about crater. At the moment the rest of the map is obsolete. Maybe they should have some sort of habitat map/guide when you die, you spawn in that kind of habitat. For example if a croc gets killed (rare) they wouldn't spawn in the middle of the desert. That way you'd know roughly where you could find your kind and group up. It is supposed to be a multiplayer game after all.
The bag carrying the baby was so cute, it doesn't even seem like they are unbearable animals to deal with when you are dying of thirst hahahahah, I love this game.
I have two things I need: 200 player servers and AI dinos. Both serve to hopefully fix my main problem with PoT and the Isle which is, outside of hotspots you see no one most of the time. I've grown so many dinos without seeing a single person unless I specifically went to GP or IC. It makes the world feel dead. Obviously, this is an even bigger problem if you play aquatics. On the flipside I hate small maps that force everyone to interact all the time but there needs to be a balance.
I would be excited to see a purpose to doing the 'community' biome quests of 'replenish' for herbivores.. slower regeneration of quest items, until it's replenished, maybe?
Is there a time frame for when AI dinos coming to main game? I love the ai critters in single player but once my dinos an adult, they run instead of fight
No doubt the new foliage, big fan of paleobotany but it’s rarely talked about when it comes to games about prehistory, so it’s nice to see it being brought ! And I hope it comes along with the micro raptor + climbing ability, it could open up the opportunity for more arboreal creatures to come to the game :]
Hey velocci I've been searching and searching but no one has covered the recent changes to the ophis. There's more ability slots and I think there was a slight stam and armor buff
The examples of the wild were only mammals and reptiles and birds donts carry their babas usually. Crocs do that for example but they take their babys in their mouth and not between the teeth. Mammals have specialized teeth to carry or hold small animals or their babys in their mouth. So this ability to Path of Titans dinosaurs is a kind of weird one.
Looking forward to 200 player cap increase, questing overhaul and the achievement system the most I reckon. Although a lot of the stuff looks really promising. :)
I hope for single player and for community servers, you can select which species of AI dinosaur you want to spawn in. That would really help with realism. I also hope they'll release the AI code in the dev kit so you can have modded AI dinosaurs. That would be insane.
I feel like the carry your baby thing should not be added to EVERY Dino. Not that i wouldnt like it but it should be added realistic so it doent look weird when dinos with very small mouths suddenly carry big babys
My hope for the future of this game is more maps, more dinosaurs especially things like Barinasuchus and Saurosuchus, and more realism in the official servers
The feature that I'm most excited for is Quest Update ngl. Like thinking what would it be, how the reward system will work. Later on add some kind of Battle Pass or some kind of premium reward? Like not just get rewarding for paying but gotta do some missions for it
AI dinos and quest givers, might actually make playing the game in single player worth it. I want to see dynamic storms like tornadoes, monsoons, and meteor showers. I want there to be strong, boss level AI dinos that spawn in certain places as a challenge to adult dinos. I want a progression system beyond being an adult dino, and nesting. I hope these are all things the devs are thinking about
I wonder if the aggressive AI will join in on already-ongoing engagements. If so, would be nice if the AI could recognize if you're already fighting for your life getting 1v8 by a mix pack, and would even the odds a bit lol.
I know it's still early days and the critters will also be getting further improvement as time goes on... But even though the roaming critter ai may already be implemented, they are still janky and have a long way to go. I would not want to see larger ai until they are fleshed out. (Eg. Get stuck in idle animations allowing you to kill them without them reacting, run into objects/get stuck, when scared they run just out of range then walk back to be stuck in a perpetual loop of screaming...) I cannot see AI dinosaurs anywhere in the immediate future unless they also release in an underbaked state - although I would hope their AI is refined further before that happens.
To be honest, I’d LOVE to pick up my kids with nesting, I’ve had occasions where my babies were too slow to run from the predator. Pot better add this next🤧
1. They need to do something to dissuade mixpackers, add solo only servers that don’t allow friends to join 2. PvP challenges/unlocks etc 3. TLC for apexes These are my main wishes tbh
I hope apex carnivores won’t be ai. They’re not as threatening in this game as is so bullying an ai TRex would just be sad. Apex herbi ai would be cool tho.
i got a better idea, how about you fix the ''precision'' key so it wont make u walk pressing it, when u trying to just rotate...how many fight i lost because i broke formation (me or any of my teammate complaining alot about it) thx for the many upgrade u guys did along the past 2 months, it was a huge change and for the better imo

hopefully holding smaller dinos isn’t implemented for all dinos that would make combat between them a joke, probably comparable to some of the goofy decisions the isle has made
The lag on servers the last 2 weeks is so annoying.
I can’t wait to be able carry kids, it’ll make travel so much easier - depending on stamina cost
Or, Alternatively;
Make it 'near area based' buffing and debuffing; due to closest terrain.
I bet in these 10 years we’re going to get a new Dinos before
stego and allo TLC
And I hope it comes along with the micro raptor + climbing ability, it could open up the opportunity for more arboreal creatures to come to the game
:]
Path of titans is the only game I’ve ever bought that wasn’t a fully released game. I will say, best purchase gaming I’ve done 🦖
During the part that he was talking about AI dinosaurs it almost sounded a little political 😂
Veloccis backshots are magnificent
Hey velocci I've been searching and searching but no one has covered the recent changes to the ophis. There's more ability slots and I think there was a slight stam and armor buff
Day of dragons let’s u carry babies as long you’re both grouped with each other
Day of scams
@ day of better
The examples of the wild were only mammals and reptiles and birds donts carry their babas usually. Crocs do that for example but they take their babys in their mouth and not between the teeth. Mammals have specialized teeth to carry or hold small animals or their babys in their mouth. So this ability to Path of Titans dinosaurs is a kind of weird one.
This sounds awesome ❤ so excited!
I’m already knowing everything going to be in ice for that 200 players straight up war
Please more realistic moviment dinosaurs
Imagine a full server with 200 people, PACKS of ai, and critters? Realism servers r gonna go HARD
carrying babies is the most useful, I really needed that while parenting as a laten since my baby couldn't jump as high
They really need to add that u can play your same characters on both maps
Looking forward to 200 player cap increase, questing overhaul and the achievement system the most I reckon.
Although a lot of the stuff looks really promising. :)
I hope for single player and for community servers, you can select which species of AI dinosaur you want to spawn in. That would really help with realism. I also hope they'll release the AI code in the dev kit so you can have modded AI dinosaurs. That would be insane.
Hear me out, a prehistoric rainforest as an entire map
I feel like the carry your baby thing should not be added to EVERY Dino. Not that i wouldnt like it but it should be added realistic so it doent look weird when dinos with very small mouths suddenly carry big babys
Well they didn’t say it had to be in the mouth. Some babies could ride on their parent’s back
Most parents can’t even defend the baby properly. They should make a system where the baby can maybe burrow near parent’s feet for immunity.
agreed i struggle to see g\how a triceratop would carry its baby or a stegosaurus although at first it may be funny.
i must say i that i am mostly excited for the 200 players servers so i am gonna run into more people or ai dinos i can fight around the map.
Imagine people going on global chat typing "ez" by killing AI dinos
I can already imagine people T-Bagging on the body after killing an AI Dino lol
My hope for the future of this game is more maps, more dinosaurs especially things like Barinasuchus and Saurosuchus, and more realism in the official servers
Carrying would work for some. They could get rid of some of the shapes I know that worked for warframe
The feature that I'm most excited for is Quest Update ngl. Like thinking what would it be, how the reward system will work. Later on add some kind of Battle Pass or some kind of premium reward? Like not just get rewarding for paying but gotta do some missions for it
Please not a fucking battle pass im sick of it being in every game
Mobile players already have enough. No battle pass, please 😭
I hope these are all things the devs are thinking about
I am so so so so very proud of how far they’ve come with their skills and knowledge and I think the rest of you guys can agree
path of Titans has done more in the last year than the THe isle has done since its start ( vanilla and Evrima). and I was a hardcore bias Isle lover.
I wonder if the aggressive AI will join in on already-ongoing engagements. If so, would be nice if the AI could recognize if you're already fighting for your life getting 1v8 by a mix pack, and would even the odds a bit lol.
I hope they add nesting materials in crater so that we can make fighting for territory even WORSE in there 🤣
I know it's still early days and the critters will also be getting further improvement as time goes on... But even though the roaming critter ai may already be implemented, they are still janky and have a long way to go. I would not want to see larger ai until they are fleshed out. (Eg. Get stuck in idle animations allowing you to kill them without them reacting, run into objects/get stuck, when scared they run just out of range then walk back to be stuck in a perpetual loop of screaming...)
I cannot see AI dinosaurs anywhere in the immediate future unless they also release in an underbaked state - although I would hope their AI is refined further before that happens.
To be honest, I’d LOVE to pick up my kids with nesting, I’ve had occasions where my babies were too slow to run from the predator. Pot better add this next🤧
1. They need to do something to dissuade mixpackers, add solo only servers that don’t allow friends to join
2. PvP challenges/unlocks etc
3. TLC for apexes
These are my main wishes tbh
AI dinozaury to krok w stronę single player mam nadzieję bo na to właśnie czekam . Pozdrawiam
We really need a body dragging feature. Im sick of killing something in shallow water and having to chunk it to eat it
I want to see dense more dense grass, tree and shrubs.
Is the game gonna release on steam?
4:08 Giant ass roots - Velocci 11/2024
Lmao
So what do you do in single player lol is there ai before the ai
I hope apex carnivores won’t be ai. They’re not as threatening in this game as is so bullying an ai TRex would just be sad. Apex herbi ai would be cool tho.
Bars caring a huge baby 😂
Idk if it was mentioned but i hope they dont make all official servers 200 ppl, i like my peaceful growing as long as i stick to the less dense areas
I dont know if you knew but we're getting a horse mod back into game!
I believe the foliage will come before micro raptor.
i got a better idea, how about you fix the ''precision'' key so it wont make u walk pressing it, when u trying to just rotate...how many fight i lost because i broke formation (me or any of my teammate complaining alot about it) thx for the many upgrade u guys did along the past 2 months, it was a huge change and for the better imo
I want a new map
With 200 players GP is going to be a blood bath....I can't wait ♥️
Im most excited for ai finis and baby carrying
I want a map tlc for both maps
