Im trying to 100% the game at the moment and I’m struggling a lot since playing this game 100% is super hard. I’m impressed how you can memorize every single red coin and flower in the game and nail every single egg throw. Really cool run. :)
I just 100%-ed this game yesterday, no save states, but lots of stars to not having to run again the entire level just because a random monkey spitting seeds hit me on the way out of the level. That said, I was looking at what speedrunners can achieve with this level, and oh, boy, I feel my achievement is kinda dumb. Amazing work, buddy, really impressive how you blitz through certain levels as if nothing.

After all the times I've played this game, this is the first time I realized that the reason the frog boss looks so wrecked is because you come out of his butthole undigested. Another hilarious thing I noticed is how you did tongue lashings along with the music at 35:50.
Just the fact that you had to reach the end EACH TIME without getting a Bonus Challenge, just because it would waste precious seconds. I've got no words.

This is a variation of the gate-hack. With a precise egg shot, the egg dies but also opens the gate while its falling off screen. It's the only one in the run. That's right. 2 coins get skipped because its way faster to duplicate them. I get where you're coming from - i guess its not truly 100% if you do this. Then again, the scoreboard says 100 so idk lol.
1-E is normally an auto-scrolling level but if you bounce on the bats and gain enough height, you can despawn the auto-scroll sprite and then play the level like any other. This saves around 3 minutes.

I don't remember being able to keep hovering without eventually losing altitude. Also how do you get it where you never have to play a bonus at the end of the level. Other than that, truly elite.
There's a small window in which you can re-flutter and maintain height yoshi.science/wiki/index.php/Fluttering#Sustained_Fluttering Getting a bonus isn't random. Basically, jumping into the goal while running at full speed will always give you a bonus so if slow down a little bit, you can skip it yoshi.science/wiki/index.php/Bonus_Skips#Basic_Information

I just found out there are two versions of this game lol. In the rerelease for the GBA, they have secret levels after beating 6-8 in addition to the extra levels that come up after obtaining a certain number of points in the world
