  • How to put down static grass on your model farm display. This will be a very basic video on laying down some static grass. You will need
    White glue (matte medium or modge podge)
    A sprayer
    Water
    a brush (optional)
    static grass
    static grass applicator

    Mix some gravel in with that mud, and have mud tracks in the gravel.

    So have a question. Why do the need a nail on the grass applicator.

      It conducts current to the surface so that the applicator pulls the fibers up

      I'm glad I made the jump to static grass. It just adds more realism.

      If you have a lot of room and money probably 1/16 is for you. If you are tight on space 1/64 is great. 1/32 is a nice compromise between the two.

    How did you clean the grass out of the gravel?

      I did the gravel first and let it dry. That way I could simply brush the grass off the gravel when I was done with it.
